I legit died laughing when Optimus called Megatron "junkyard scrap" while he was just mercilessly whipping his ass all the way through that forest. Say what you will about the Michael Bay Transformers films but this was my favorite version of Optimus. He was cold blooded.

I really appreciate how well these movies have aged, effects wise. They still look pretty spectacular.
Yeah they even look better than what Marvel puts out today. The reason is because they use actual film instead of digital, and actual real locations and practical effects _with_ CGI not _just_ CGI.

This one time i was playing PUBG back in 2017. My team & I got ambushed on the southern bridge towards the military base. Our driver got downed, so we jumped out after the car passed the enemy team. My other 2 teammates got downed, i was the only one left. Took cover behind the car, was able to down them one by one. I couldn't believe it, then i was about to revive my teammates and then guess what happened? The game crashed. I'll never forget that moment. RIP my teammates, RIP our chicken dinner :,(

Megatron probably felt that Optimus was pulling his punches because he was still prioritizing Sam’s safety during the fight.
If Prime was actually serious he probably would have already taken out at least Grindor and Starscream at the early parts.
@KS Shooter technically megatron did kill him twice and beat him another 2 times. Sentinel smoked optimus, megatron smoked sentinel as well.

Has anyone noticed how Optimus is the most vocal fighter out of all the Transformers they've shown? Like the amount of grunting and various other noises while most if not all the other transformers say nothing and make little to no noise unless it's a closeup of a severe ass beating.

Thats cause Megs, and Screamer were the only main characters the rest of the Decepticons were Vehicons in my eyes, Prime and Bumblee the main chaarcters for the Autobots the rest were pretty much background characters. This entire scene is the best part of the original trilogy. Michael Bay decided to pull back the camera, use slow motion, no shaky cam, no US Army soldiers, no hot chick looking into the horizon, just a good robots action scene.

If his left arm was as big as his right he would actually stand a chance at least for a little while before getting overpowered by Optimus. Here he was trying to kick Optimus since his kicks are deadly as seen when Megatron just kicks him which destroyed his battle mask.
So much about this movie still impresses me. The animation holds up so well still to this day. It’s WAY better than how endgame looked.

There's something I have just noticed at 2:59. It looks like a cancelled sequence which could explain why Optimus was looking for Sam. There's a tree on fire near Optimus. It would seem one of the Decepticons (presumably Megatron) must have fired their weapon at Sam and Sam was unharmed. But Optimus was worried and dropped his guard while looking for him. I could be wrong here, but here's something to consider: When Optimus drew his second sword and went full rage mode, he almost stepped on Sam. His focus was on his opponents the whole time and he was determined to take them down, one way or another. So it seems odd for Optimus to look for Sam when he tore Grindor's face off just seconds ago. It's practically common sense, you don't take your eyes off from your opponents until they're defeated. So short answer is this: it's a continuity error. And this happens throughout the other films as well.
In the first film, Bonecrusher rushed towards Optimus on that highway scene and we all know who won that fight. But that fight was over in seconds and that doesn't explain why Optimus was late for the city battle. Remind you, Barricade was also there but he disappears suddenly and never seen again (I ain't counting Last Knight movie canon). So Barricade could have fought Optimus long enough for Megatron to make his entry in the city fight.
The same thing happens in DOTM as well. After Sam killed Starscream, Bumblebee saved both Sam and Lennox from falling. Then it's jumps to the scene where all the Autobots were captured by the enemy. Seriously how and when did those guys get the jump on the Autobots?
I wish Michael Bay released the extended cuts of all the films so we could really see what happened in those scenes that didn't make it's entry in the theatrical versions

@Trey Grant Prime will always be badass, no doubt. But they didn't portray it much due to the human factor in the movies. The first movie he was scrapping it out with Megatron, when they both were injured and slowly getting to their feet Sam used the cube to kill Megatron. The second movie, this scene Prime only died because of having to worry about Sam. He clearly had them outsmarted and was a savage. The third movie he took down Shockwaves pet which was awesome but only because of Sam and the Soldiers being hunted by it then proceeded to get trapped in wires needing the Wreckers to help him. The 4th one he needed Cades and the others help with Lockdown, don't get me wrong Lockdown is easily a worthy foe of Optimus and you could make the argument that Optimus was still healing from the shot earlier but beforehand he easily overpowered a charging Grimlock and made him submit then to get stabbed by Lockdown? With his own sword? I'm just saying, if the movies focused more on the Transformers since that's LITERALLY the name Optimus would've been a full on badass.
Technically the leader is The Fallen, who is now officially dead, so Megatron who is 2nd in command is now leader, who died amd revived in a new body, while 3rd in command Starscream became 2nd in command, who is also now dead.
When your too powerful alone so the only way for others to succeed against is when they outnumber you and stab you in the back

Track Star in this one he fought for Sam, and in the first one it just was Optimus vs Megatron. And since he haven’t fought in a long time before arriving to earth he was not in ”shape” of fighting. Now when he has been on earth for like 2 years in this movie he got in shape to fight again!

You want a real answer. The Writers were inconsistent for the the rest of the franchise. Michael Bay was also shooting action scenes for this movie before they even had a plot do to a Writers Strike at the time.
No megatron was weeak here because his original parts was replace by weak deception.

Optimus was so brave despite of being a support bot ( as Autobots were made for support and decepticons were the fighting bots) He fought four decepticons alone and defeated 3 of them. And got stabbed by Megatron.

Exactly!!! Thank you!! I don't even know why people think they're the same decepticons or brothers. Clearly they don't read comics enough, because blackout was more of a hunter and made stratagies while grindor studied his enemies rather than fight.

I've always seen the statement "You're so weak." as Megatron calling out Optimus' emotions as a major flaw. Because Optimus went on a massive killing streak then lost his entire focus on the battle, looking for Sam, and forgot about Megatron.

he was going charge him but he lost balance while turing around and made a mistake and jump up

Jokes aside I think it's a throwback to that moment in the first movie when Megatron told Prime that he was always losing because he fought for the weak and there Megatron managed to sneak up on him and backstab him because Prime was worried about Sam and looking for him so basically Megatron is telling him that his weakness is his compassion towards humans and that's what cost Optimus his life so Megatron kinda right on that one
That one 12 year old on the enemy team when he catches you off guard, misses the all headshots and gets an assist on your death.
