Rewatching this clip has amazed me at how much clarity it has and the action is easy to follow...
For some reason I always remember the *Transformers* movies as being chaotic with shaky cam and multiple explosions happening simultaneously... But this has made me realize that it was suspenseful and easy to follow and stay captivated

They should collaborate with Legendary to get better effects. Legendary's been responsible for brilliant movies known for amazing effects, such as Godzilla(2014,19,21) Kong(2017,21) Jurassic World, Interstellar, Dune, The Dark Knight series, Pacific Rim, etc.
To be fair these guys had much more time to cook these than the poor bastards making the Marvel vfx’s. Blame Covid and the over abundance of shit that came out this year and last year for the phase. That and TV shows have always had lower budgets than movies as well. Point is, they needed more time and money than what was given to them, something the team for the Transformer movies actually got.

One thing Micheal Bay does exceptionally well, Highway Chase scenes. Transformers 1 and 3 have amazing chases and the camera work is just incredible

If you keep saying that Bay only directed the scene,the music and CGI is of Steve Jablonsky and ILMVFX then take out the music and CGI outta the Avengers Assemble scene. That way you can also say that Russos only directed the movie but do we say that? No. Sure Bay is weak in storyline and humor,but it doesnt matter; Bay knows his shit and is almost unparalleled in _direction_ ,there's no other director out there whos capable of making scenes like these. So stop complaining that vfx and music doesnt belong to him,he directed the movie,he put the music in sequence and he told the action directors and CGI makers how to put them together.
Bay may be weak in presenting the story to us,but his direction is beautiful and unparalleled. Change my mind.

I appreciate the dedication to have the Autobot and Decepticon actors fight on an actual highway in the middle of traffic. Sure some people innocent people got killed during filming, but that only makes it more realistic. Great work Michael Bay.

In my opinion this is one of the best scenes in all of the Bayformers movies. Every action shot I can tell what's happening, who's who, and the explosions aren't too over the top. The characters actually have, well character. The way Iron Hide and Sideswipe work together actually makes them seem like part of a team. The CG animation is amazing and the designs for these decepticons is so memorable. This seemed like hope for the Bayformers movies...

CGI is really better than using today
Looks cool, but after 2 and a half hours of this i was so board to death by the end of the film. The first Transformers so so dam good b/c there were not nearly as many fight scenes. Less is MORE
