I dont know if im doing it wrong but i only get the right answer when i do the blades 4mm thick and not 8mm as the drawing says. If im not reading the drawing wrong. 8:21 Fusion 4mm 10290.66g, 8mm 10853.7g. I guess it should be a 4 on the drawing since the finished part looks as the drawing then.
I got the right answer in OnShape with 8mm ribs. 10290.611g. Are you sure you aren't doubling the width of the ribs when you copy them around? I don't know Fusion, so I don't konw if that's possible.
@@kenhaley4 I have redone the model and found out why. I used extrude symetric 8mm. What fusion do then is extruding 8mm in two distancese. Not 8mm in total, if i use extrude two ways and put 8mm to each side i get the same efect. Witch is to be 4mm. So the model is right, and i dont understand fusion... In my logic symetric should be the total distance, not half of the total distance.

10290.355g in Onshape. Way too long and missed the connection between the hub and the ribs. Ended up with 2 parts but within 1g.... so yeah. Don't drive on my wheel, it's not safe

damn. done after 2 hours. messed up the ribs. finally. 1290.96
Awesome job and tricky part!!
10290.959 g Easy one but a lot of dimensions, 8 minutes in Onshape
10290.96 grams in Solidworks but used a sketch for the "rib" as couldn't see how to create an actual rib feature
10290.96 grams using SW 2016 in 15 minutes.
Very nice!
10,290kg in FreeCAD, didn't measure the time, I guess ~10 minutes.
I did it long time ago. 10290.78 g . Dragos
Nice!
