Good grief. That price is unjustifiable when you look at what accurascale and dapol are charging for latest tech. Hornby should reissue the original b17 football models as railroad. But they never seen to make sensible decisions
Stunning models, seen one in the flesh and it really does look great. That said, I won't be rushing out to spend the best part of £300 as I am more than happy with my Dean Sidings conversation I built many a year back altered to fit a B1 chassis rather than the old Margate B17 chassis
These look great. But. £275, for a loco that's lacking modern features? Surely if a loco doesn't have the features that new-from-the-ground-up models have, they should be cheaper?
Nice to see (a favourite when I was a kid), but the price and relatively low spec? It's akin to buying a 7mm diesel from Heljan in the recent past🤔😲🙄🤫🤫 Harsh? But during a recession (yh we ARE in recession after the super elites stole our money), it'll be interesting to see how well it'll sell at that price point 🤔🤔
I bought mine on pre order and I think it’s fantastic, well done Hornby
I wouldn't pay that but for those who would, the HM7000 sound profile is out now
Nearly £280 for DCC ready?? You must be joking, they'll hardly sell any at that price, it's insane
The green ones have all sold out.
@andrewhotston983 wow!

Maybe the words you're looking for are "rip-off" ?
I would have liked to have a locomotive crew for the price. Could you recommend a souce? I love the loco. Still?
Wow did he say £274.95!! blimey I think I will pass thanks!
These prices are verging on O gauge for a much smaller model.
I agree for a few quid more an outage
£274 .95 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really want it but not for that price. I can’t it’s just not worth that much
Based on an old DCC ready chassis. Too steep for me
too expensive.will stick with my railroad Jinty. it is what it is,
No but there were very few actually built, so unrepresentative.
