With sharp turns, I keep acceleration on and side attack. But there are some times where I turn slightly with control stick, while tapping acceleration for a little bit.
If I may ask why do the cars in F-Zero X feel differently than GP Legend and Climax. the cars in X feel like they can be controlled the same way but in GP LEGEND and CLIMAX they all are so different, was it because of the side effect?
In F-Zero X, each vehicle is essentially balanced. It's just their weight and visible stats that make the difference. In GP Legend, it follows a philosophy in GX, in which vehicles feel different. The only thing is weight works somewhat differently in GP Legend, with heavier machines being hard to turn with, and difficult to get airtime with. For F-Zero Climax, all machines have less traction (so that down and up on the D-Pad can act as turn modifiers, which enable easier drifting). Some of GP Legend's principles are still in Climax, but it feels more tight for all vehicles in GP Legend. In Climax, most feel a bit loose to enable easier drifting.

I feel like it helps that they aren't as eager to powerslide. They generally have awesome control. That's what I found so far.
