Bro, use a silk touch pickaxe for mining the gold in the Nether and after smell it in a fournace and it's gonna be 1 ingot pear block. Hope that makes sense.

Im not gonna lie its kinda more. guy built like 6 farms and a giant build. Hermits usually only do 1-2 major things in an episode...

next time you need to mine magma blocks, you could use boots with frost walker, that prevent you from taking damage from the magma, or you could sneak too

I love the castle!!! I just can't help but feel something is missing. Maybe a colourful flag might help???? Since its bright inside but no pop of colour outside. Idk, it's your choice either way. It's still beautiful!!!!
Yeah fair, I was thinking about doing something like that when building it but wasn't sure how to make it look half decent.
@WildSpade since there's different areas, try to add some hidden colours on the roof using upside down stairs, and the flags can go top of the towers. Each tower has a different purpose???

so, by that title I thought this was one of those 'use all the X blocks' challenge, and that you'd be using every colored block in the castle, and some how make it look pretty while at it, not just the splattering method, so a bit disappointed there, but this video was still fun to watch, and all those farms just wow.

You can silk touch mine nether gold and smelt it as a block to get ingots. This is more than the amount of nuggets you get from mining them normally

The mod is called litematica, once you have a schematic loading into your world you can see the materials by pressing M and L at the time.
