    Hey even though Rhino’s TQ doesn’t come with the tried and true reputation, buying a NAR CAT TQ and swapping it out in one of Rhino’s kits you are still cheaper than 99% of the loaded first aid kits on the market

    Appreciate the review, especially since there aren't a ton for Rhino Rescue products!
    One thing to note-- NPAs should not be used on patients with facial trauma. They're contraindicated for facial trauma, basilar skull fractures, or disruption of midface, nasopharynx or roof of mouth. For the patient with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the face, we'd be looking at transporting in a prone position and using suction to ensure the airway is clear. (And probably calling for ALS to help with intubation if we can no longer manage their airway.)

    I bought this for about $90 and I'm beyond satisfied. I only have TC3 knowledge, but I can feel comfort knowing I have everything to save my life within reach with this IFAK. Worth every penny. I'll continue to rely on Rhino Rescue for future medical buys.

    I love the Rhino Rescue tourniquet! Question, you stated they were designed in Germany and assembled in the US. Everything I can find online is that they are made in China. Do you have a link to show this difference? Their website doesn’t really say and seems like they are S. American based. Either way I will continue buying them and recommending them. Great product.

    I’ve read over and over only NAR tqs but I got some of the black metal windlass and tan plastic ones of the RR and they’re well made. I trust mine and my family’s life to them in each vehicle

    Just bought a couple of their TQ through TR. Very comprehensive kit! I think the only thing I would add to it, would be some duct tape. Thanks for the share!!

    Those for tourniquets are made for air soft. They should make them non functioning but they clone the cat for realism. It’s dangerous but all you can do is educate the people who don’t know so good on you!

    Rhinos tourniquets are legit one of the few if not the only one other than North American rescue that are legit

    Hey idf reserve soldier here, great review just one thing, you SHOULD NOT open the elastic bandage (we call it personal bandage).
    The reason is because you want to keep it as sterile as possible and preferably you do not want to touch the white part of the inner bandage (the part you put on the wounded area).
    And the bandage is not meant to be tourniquet it is meant to stop light-mid bleeding, can be used on hands, lags, and head so try not to put too much pressure

    I think you need to review your statements on the nasopharyngeal use. If there's any damage to the face that may have broken the skull around the nose do not use a naso airway in case of puncturing the brain with the airway.

      no longer an issue, chances of the npa causing any harm is infinitesimally small.

    That's a really great kit. It's just missing one thing suitors and/or some super glue. I'm in trying to find a good kid myself. This comes pretty darn close. Let's just miss the 2 things the suitors and super glue cause. I get some pretty nasty cuts on my hands and arms doing my debauchery and I go hiking or just working.

    • @alepepperoni2563
      @alepepperoni2563 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What type of super glue? Dollar stores have the small super glue multi packs for easy one time use.

      You're right! Luckily, it's got a little extra space to fit something like that in. Great recommendation 👍

      @@alepepperoni2563 Whatever type glue keeps the moon closed? It's good enough for me. Sometimes try to avoid the simply that has to use a ultra violet light cause that really burns cause it heats up fast

      Personal experience, not as good as designated liquid bandage and burns like hell. It does stop the bleeding, but the wound itself will be thick and crusty for about a week.
      Sliced myself pretty good cooking on my middle finger

    I was building a plate carrier for myself and wonder what Ifak I should get and saw this video. Got the this in multi cam and it was bigger then I expected to be but can still go prone without feeling a bit awkward. I keep it off my carrier in case I need it somewhere else but it is quick to put on molle to my surprise. Hope this is a good investment.

    • @collapsenprotect
      @collapsenprotect  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think you'll really like it 👍 I typically keep my ifak on the left side of my plate carrier cummerbund area, and that gives me plenty of mobility when conducting search warrants or raids.
      Just remember that training is the other half of this kit! I'll be putting out some very basic stop the bleed training because a few people have requested it.

    Lack of reputation is not a rational reason to downgrade a product.
