Fun fact - the biggest ever attendance at Old Trafford didn't feature Manchester United, it was Wolves v Grimsby, almost 77k back in 1932
Not only has it always been close the graphs seem to mirror each other in peaks and slumps crazy. Looking forward to the derby!
Always have.. And always will be a wolves supporter all the way🏆🧡🖤🧡🖤We Are WOLVERHAMPTON
Always been fairly close between the 2 clubs
1-5 at the custard bowl! Odemwingie is a legend SOTW!
Come on wovles derby day yhr
On another level back in the 60 s wolves were a part in our record crowd ,at Bloomfield road home of blackpool fc ,40,000 that day .
Of the two, West Brom have been a little more consistent, but Wolves have had the bigger highs, and bigger lows. Overall though, my own analysis is that Wolves are the bigger club of the two, though there's not a lot in it. Maybe 2-3 places higher for Wolves. And some of that is due to current positions, i.e. Wolves are Premier League, West Brom are Championship.
Wolves have won every major English honour
@@marknewbold2583 So have albion
@@albionlad8652 wba have never won the league cup
Wba won more fa cups than wolves 5 to 4 and also more season in the top flight 82 v 69 so far
@@robertanderson6776 Yes, but Wolves have more league titles 3 to 1, and that is a little more prestigious than FA Cup wins. They also have a bigger stadium and higher attendance, for now. And they are Premier League, which adds to the overall 'biggness'. Whenever I measure how big a club is, I take all this into account. On my list, Wolves are around 11-12, West Brom are around 14-15. That still puts them comfortably in the top 20.
Baggies never made it to the 4th Divvy😉
More lows goes to dingles
Always remember the wolves 7-1 win smile😊 wolves have mor3 trophy’s so it’s simple who has the better history
We are wolves 🐺🏴
Us yam yams am gonna smosh Sandwell town 😂
Baggies on top
In your dreams Sonny Jim,just a gentle reminder, anything north of Smethwick Galton Bridge is considered the bad lands, bandit country, cheers from Christchurch New Zealand, your friendly neighbourhood kiwi baggie.
@@EthanAtterburynot even top of the championship even we did that
@@geoffadams5537 anything near West Bromwich is a wasteland. You're the armpit of Birmingham.
@@marknewbold2583fuck off to Stafford the black country is albions
Who cares really none of it matters, the only thing that matters is the next game and I honestly don't think anyone can call it. The pressure is certainly on my Wolves as we're in the Prem but this could go either way. I just hope it's a good game because they're usually boring none events. Always Wolves ay I!
Wba also had 82 seasons in the top flight compared to wolves 69 as it stands
I’m a neutral but it’s Wolves, league cup winners 1980 and played in Europe.
albion played in europe over 6 times ?
@@Jad_030yeah over 6 times wba have massive history
It would take 2 minutes to check out both teams trophy cabinets..😂😂😂
WBA 10 fa cup finals, 5 wins
@stephenlaw9886 Lol..i knew someone would bite

Villa v wba was always a bigger derby back in the day . UTW
The attendance stat is stupid, that should depend on how many empty seats there are or how full the stadium is since the hawthorns is smaller than the custard bowl aka molineux
Wolves have a better average attendance throughout history and modern day. You barely crack 24k against big championship sides
"The custard bowl" is bigger because the fanbase is bigger and we can fill it 👍
@@ayo4048 not when you lose which is most of the time
@@GamedOutJosh do you know what average attendance means?
We're 3 points off Europe & you're in a scrap for playoffs in the league below what kind of insult is that 😭
@@ayo4048 average attendance can be based of stadium size and if you use your brain you can realise the molinuex is bigger than the hawthorns which means any comparison of how many people go to games will always be won by wolves
@@GamedOutJosh yeah mate that would be a fair argument if you actually filled your stadium 😭😭😭😭😭
Baggiessssss!!!!!
Wolves 🐺
Ah the black country civil war baggies against wolves, chances are it's going to be a game to remember,a classic encounter, let's hope it's in the west Brom favour,we win say 3 -1.
Not even Black Country are you?
None of any of the past matters or will have anything to do with the outcome 😂😂 it’s a fresh 11 men against a fresh 11 men 🤷♂️
No, it will be more than 11
Well thats Bullshit you couldnt even hear the Wolves fans all game. I cant wait till Wolves go back to being shit again, you couldnt get a worse set of fans to give any success to.
Wolves are more successful and have a bigger fanbase. West brom were just more consistently mediocre while Wolves had lower lows (the biggest being because of financial problems). This video doesn't even take into account the impact Wolves had on European football or better yet how many times these 2 teams actually qualified!
Couldnt find a Wo1ve5 fan five years ago, thats why we say Wolves Est.2015
@@MartsTravel whats it like down in the championship lad
@@MartsTravel well, here we are after West brom gave let wolves fans get tickets in the home end and got outsung losing 2-0 at home. Great how things work out
@ayo4048 you didnt hear wolves fans until they scored, thing go in cycles, at the moment you have more money and better players it wont be be long before they go back to what they really are which is a championship club.
@@MartsTravel Well you did, Albion fans keep saying this to feel like they took something from this game lmao. We were even louder with the liquidator. Besides, you lot didn't make a peep after the first goal that's horrific and embarrassing support in a derby. One of the reasons you didn't get back into it. Had 15 minutes after the scrap to do somet, I was worried thinking you lot would come out fired up and the atmosphere would be electric, nah, just dead already. Do I even need to mention the fact you had season ticket holders giving tickets to Wolves fans? Such embarrassing support it's beyond tinpot.
