@@wafflestraw8631 A lot of people are invited to audition for agt, it's nothing new. If she hadn't been invited then it's unlikely she would have been able get on to the show as it is half way arond the world from where she lives.
I'm actually glad she didn't win. She's amazing, the last thing she needs is to be stuck with a year contract to agt. Really have those contracts ever ensured or achieved the person going on to be successful? Daneliya got all the positives of media, recognition world-wide, support and love from fans, without being a slave to a lame agt contract. Didn't get the money but with her already being so popular and already winning a competition I don't think she needed it. She doesn't get the official 'agt winner' title but she's a winner in most of our eyes. ❤️ Daneliya
She should’ve sung something like feeling good by nina simone instead, most people go for the high note screamy songs, but women singing low note songs instead sounds so much better, and it’s so much harder to do.

Danelia's voice is naturally strong and her musical ear is a gift from God. But I understand how much work this child has put in even to speak English so clearly. She is only 13y.o. she's in a foreign country under millions of eyes. However, I do not know if you have any examples of a foreign child winning this competition. And of course thank you to everyone who supported and worried about this girl. This will be a great experience for her, which will be useful to her in life.

Or because she sang the wrong songs. As a fan i dont like any of the songs she sang in AGT. She is bigger than those song. She is a powerful vocalist but wasted her coice on average boring song. So i can’t complain even if she didn’t make to the final.

Gianni Gianni I believe she chose the song for audition by herself/management. She sang Alive by Sia. And she sang the same song for final. Did AGT chose this song for her since the first time?
@@leonpaci2762 Brandon Leake. Comparing singers to poets is a bit apples and oranges. I don't think anyone has any legitimate criteria to say whether one is "better" than the other. I can say that if the audience enjoyed his performances more than DT's then he indeed deserved to win. This particular contest isn't about who is the best singer, it is about who moves the audience the most and frankly Brandon walked away with it from this perspective. I would be thrilled at the chance to support DT's future but the fact is singing someone else's song makes it incredibly challenging to make it your own and personalize it to connect to the audience the same way Brandon was able to by telling his life stories. DT is phenomenal but don't confuse that fact with each performer's impact on the viewer. Alan Silva for example had incredible charisma onstage from his interviews to his performance he managed to make people happy. I think this translated to votes. So its not just song choice that is familiar across generations but ones that make people happy would have helped DT win more votes. DT could focus a bit more on interviewing too, I'm no expert there but I think its one area that she can improve upon because I can't think of anything related to singing she needs to do other than song choice. I hope that song choice is really all she would have to work upon but figuring out how to improve your charisma/story in the interview stages doesn't hurt either.
I hope that this show will be the start of her professional career. Hopefully, producers will take this into account and will promote, because she deserved it!

She sings professionally for just 5 years and She already is better than a lot of big figures in the music industry. Unbelievable! A true WINNER for me!
ihaierart As far as live performances, she's for sure on par with and beyond many "pop stars," as far as control, pitch, tune, and *power* (which will likely grow for another 12-15 years for her). She is at that standard already on a technical level, and still lots of time for growth
ihaierart That's like telling a carpenter "You use the same tools as every other carpenter" but it's about how you use them. You just named one of the most basic, bottom line parts of singing and said it like it's a bad thing that she uses her head voice. She flips between head and chest voice like nothing, so if that's the best you've got then that's a joke and you just don't like her. ps. head voice is a subcategory of range, they aren't separate entities, head voice is half of your range "You shoot the same basketball that everybody else shoots" "He uses an oven to make pizza just like everyone else" "Snipers just use guns, a lot of people shoot guns" "She uses her range and head voice to sing" See my point? She has vocal power that will grow over the next decade 10-12+ years for her. She doesn't have the same pitch as everyone else, she has similar pitch to the best. Her range is much wider than just her head voice, that's why she spent equal time in her chest voice throughout the entire competition, and she showed good mixed voice as well, which is just another tool in her arsenal. She has good rhythm, she is clearly very efficient with her breathing control which enables all this and even makes it appear effortless. She has insane vocal control especially for 14 years old, she hardly had any flat notes, I didn't hear a single sharp that didn't belong, and beyond all of that, her biggest strengths to make her power and control stand out from others is that she has a rare timbre and undeniably unique diction that we almost never hear in western countries. To say that she's basic and "sings like a lot of pop stars, basics, she mainly using her range and head voice" is insane. By that standard there should've only ever been 1 singer, because they used their range and then somebody copied them by using their range as well. See what I mean? The first wheel ever made was used for a potters wheel. Should we not have cars today because the basic universal tool, the wheel, had already been used? Does nobody stand out simply because they use the same tools, no matter how well they use them?

Данелия уже победительница. Попасть в финал конкурса AGT дорогого стоит. Я горд тем, что ещё больше американцев узнают о нашей стране, как о кузнице творческих талантов. Согласна, где все придыдущие победители? Никто не знает и к сожалению не помнят. И потом победитель как я поняла подписывает контракт который закрывает другие более выгодные двери в шоу бизнесе. This was the best performance, the other acts are good too, there are other great singers in the competition but Daneliya got that something extra, something special. Not only is she a great singer, she is a great performer and entertainer and if that’s not enough her personality will win you over. I mean... I really hope she will win, but even if she doesn’t, her future looks bright already!
You obviously have not heard Angelina Jordan. She just signed with Republic Records (Amy Winehouse's old label) in August after only coming in at 6th. place with AGT Champions 2020. Quincy Jones ,famous music writer, producer, icon from back in the day was heard saying that Angelina Jordan as the greatest RAW TALENT he has ever seen since Michael Jackson.
In three months she’s gone from needing a translator to sounding American. I wish I spoke Russian to hear her in her native tongue. When she sings there is zero accent.
@@mosulman7773 Two years ago she could still get by without the use of a translator (re: The View interview where the translator was almost like a prop lol). But her vocabulary has greatly improved, less accent. Really proud of her for that.

When I watched her voice kids audition at 10, i thought "what the heck is this girl, every singer whether in The Voice, the Voice Kid, X Factor or any competition, all is waiting how many chair will turned, how many judges will acknowledged them, but only this girl, Daneliya, don't care about it, just enjoy singing and go into the song." From that time, I already knew that she will be a very huge star in singing world.

@@leonpaci2762 Brandon Leake. Comparing singers to poets is a bit apples and oranges. I don't think anyone has any legitimate criteria to say whether one is "better" than the other. I can say that if the audience enjoyed his performances more than DT's then he indeed deserved to win. This particular contest isn't about who is the best singer, it is about who moves the audience the most and frankly Brandon walked away with it from this perspective. I would be thrilled at the chance to support DT's future but the fact is singing someone else's song makes it incredibly challenging to make it your own and personalize it to connect to the audience the same way Brandon was able to by telling his life stories. DT is phenomenal but don't confuse that fact with each performer's impact on the viewer. Alan Silva for example had incredible charisma onstage from his interviews to his performance he managed to make people happy. I think this translated to votes. So its not just song choice that is familiar across generations but ones that make people happy would have helped DT win more votes. DT could focus a bit more on interviewing too, I'm no expert there but I think its one area that she can improve upon because I can't think of anything related to singing she needs to do other than song choice. I hope that song choice is really all she would have to work upon but figuring out how to improve your charisma/story in the interview stages doesn't hurt either.

ihaierart As far as live performances, she's for sure on par with and beyond many "pop stars," as far as control, pitch, tune, and *power* (which will likely grow for another 12-15 years for her). She is at that standard already on a technical level, and still lots of time for growth

That's like telling a carpenter "You use the same tools as every other carpenter" but it's about how you use them. You just named one of the most basic, bottom line parts of singing and said it like it's a bad thing that she uses her head voice. She flips between head and chest voice like nothing, so if that's the best you've got then that's a joke and you just don't like her.
ps. head voice is a subcategory of range, they aren't separate entities, head voice is half of your range

See my point? She has vocal power that will grow over the next decade 10-12+ years for her. She doesn't have the same pitch as everyone else, she has similar pitch to the best. Her range is much wider than just her head voice, that's why she spent equal time in her chest voice throughout the entire competition, and she showed good mixed voice as well, which is just another tool in her arsenal. She has good rhythm, she is clearly very efficient with her breathing control which enables all this and even makes it appear effortless. She has insane vocal control especially for 14 years old, she hardly had any flat notes, I didn't hear a single sharp that didn't belong, and beyond all of that, her biggest strengths to make her power and control stand out from others is that she has a rare timbre and undeniably unique diction that we almost never hear in western countries.
To say that she's basic and "sings like a lot of pop stars, basics, she mainly using her range and head voice" is insane. By that standard there should've only ever been 1 singer, because they used their range and then somebody copied them by using their range as well. See what I mean? The first wheel ever made was used for a potters wheel. Should we not have cars today because the basic universal tool, the wheel, had already been used? Does nobody stand out simply because they use the same tools, no matter how well they use them?

This was the best performance, the other acts are good too, there are other great singers in the competition but Daneliya got that something extra, something special. Not only is she a great singer, she is a great performer and entertainer and if that’s not enough her personality will win you over. I mean... In three months she’s gone from needing a translator to sounding American. I wish I spoke Russian to hear her in her native tongue. When she sings there is zero accent.

Daneliya is one of so many singers that can go into the song they sing. When I watched her voice kids audition at 10, i thought "what the heck is this girl, every singer whether in The Voice, the Voice Kid, X Factor or any competition, all is waiting how many chair will turned, how many judges will acknowledged them, but only this girl, Daneliya, don't care about it, just enjoy singing and go into the song." From that time, I already knew that she will be a very huge star in singing world.
