Im a Sri lankan loves all kinds of music and listens to all kinds of music i find. When i was really young i was told that i was gifted with a singing vocals and introduced to a musician for vocal training. At that time eastern music was our only initial way to music and gradually i explored the other types. Then i met my master and asked a question which he was really impressed about. What is the most effective way of learning to sing? Which is the most suitable type that has a wide variation and color which type of music will lead me to the perfection with my singing and vocal. He was happy about the question and really appreciated me not being restricted to eastern music but exploring universal music. As he said the best way to practice methods and techniques of breathing, vocal training with western music. But all the colors variations emotions which creates a sensitive musician will come from the eastern music. Specially the variations and mastering it will guide your vocals to do unimaginable things. So basically listen to Hindi songs at that time so easy to find and follow their melodies and the same time follow the techniques which will make it easy for you. Thank you Sir 🙏
you just killed all of the beauty of transitions in the beats by pausing the video again and again. Once try to listen it uninterupted, only then you can feel the real magic in it
Who held the swag? Heres my take- The entire scat bit is sung by Ustad Rahat to the notes of the scale. Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti in western music and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Da Ni in Indian classical scale. There were two full scales in use here. That was outstanding in itself. But the drummer.....he performed to the entire scat in rhythm and scale to create 'Union', which is a specific technique of this art form to terminate a performance. Two 'Swag men'. Great.
"the creator" in this case is more a revered, exalted mention of the almighty who has created this incredible subject/muse of the song who needs this poetic description and not a direct description of the creator. Urdu is very very poetic

Those are Riffs/ Sargam which are part of Pakistani and Indian Cultural Qawali which is a form of Cultural Pakistani and Indian Songs/ Music/ Message in which there are deep meanings and emotions, Those riffs/ Sargam are also instructions for background musicians, drummers and other Instrumentalist on How, What, Which note and When to play the instruments so they are also extremely difficult at Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's level unachievable by most their whole life. You can watch some popular Qawali by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to in which the riffs/ Sargam always comes before the drum beat because he is guiding his musicians and Instrumentalists with the riffs/ Sargam whilst singing at the same time.
There's no autotune for trained artists in the Indian subcontinent. It's pure hardwork and lifelong dedication to their art. They don't stop training and learning their entire lives
Hi, so strange that nobody else commented yet. Seems you guys are on the journey of exploring and enjoying Pakistan's music. I'm from Pakistan so let me give you guys a brief introduction about Coke Studio. It's a platform where several independent musicians, singers and even directors collaborate to create something truly magical (hence, real magic). For example every person you see in this video is talented in his own field (the guy on keyboard with shades on is a singer himself and his name is Fakhir). So it's a coketail (pun intended) of best talent. And all songs are performed live. Behind the stage (BTS) are also available on their channel. If you like music then you are already part of Coke Studio family. Great reaction video. I would suggest going through all Coke Studio seasons (Season 14 was the last one) and also check out Nescafe Basement. Looking forward to more videos from you guys.
If you want to learn singing just listen one song of Rahat everyday does not matter what language you speak or understand he is legend God of hitting notes
This is classic Indian music. Before 1947, there was no Pakistan. But, both singers are Pakistanis and they are wow. I love the smoothness of their voice.
Last piece is called sargam....seven fundamental sounds in music sa re ga ma pa dha ni sa....combinations and repetition of these sounds in different speeds gives out a result like that.....there is nothing called Pakistani music....it is hindustani music ( hailing from era of undivided India before 1947).....legends like Nusrat sahab, Rahat sahab are keeping alive an art that is 5000 years old still alive
It's Pakistani music, whatever the hell your opinion is, it doesn't change the fact that this music is from Pakistan. You Indians are so freaking delusional smh.
By naming it Indian music you are misleading people thinking that it was made by present day India. People who are not aware of subcontinent history and geography can be milead by this half information.spread out the whole truth. Let the world know that Present day Pakistan was once cradle of Indus Valley civilization and Pakistan, India and Bangladesh all together represent subcontinent and this music was originated in subcontinent hence property of all three nations.so there is as much as Pakistani music as is Indian or Bangladeshi music. The name Pakistan didn't exist before 47 but the people and land is as ancient as today's India. This particular peace of music is definitely Pakistani because it is made in Pakistan by Pakistani.

Specially the variations and mastering it will guide your vocals to do unimaginable things.
So basically listen to Hindi songs at that time so easy to find and follow their melodies and the same time follow the techniques which will make it easy for you.
Thank you Sir 🙏
This guy looks like pewdiepie, right?
you just killed all of the beauty of transitions in the beats by pausing the video again and again. Once try to listen it uninterupted, only then you can feel the real magic in it
Epic song 4m coke studio Pakistan with Legend Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan with Beautiful voice Momina.. 💕🇵🇰💕
Who held the swag? Heres my take-
The entire scat bit is sung by Ustad Rahat to the notes of the scale.
Hands down most natural reactions on youtube. KEEP IT UP!!!!
Ýou guys are amazing I heard this songs hundreds of times but but didn't notice which you tell about in this songs and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a legend .. so react on Noble peace Award "Raag" 2014 Rahat Fateh Ali Khan its awesome and I love both of you ❤
Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰 ♥
The thing Rahat fateh ali khan The Legend did at the end is almost impossible to be done by a Western, Extremely Difficult will twist your tounge.
A disciple from Patiala Gharana having a singing history of around 7 centuries & being singers at emperors courtyard too! Musical delight to have such matured voice with a nightingale voice of momina!!
this isn't autotuned at all, the point of coke studio is that everything is natural without any editing so no theres no autotune in their voices, its just their natural voices lol
The guy on the piano is a famous singer of his time back in the early 20's.
This is Indian & Pakistani music... We need more of such reactions. Plus the legend Rahat did nt improvise that's the exact he sings even in lives N anywhere... He is jst good N absolute legend!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This is Pakistani music not so called indian
@@hamzabilal5216 bro before 1947 did Pakistan even exist??
@@yashvlogsss3395 Both countries came into existence in 1947.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Don't cry but this is 100 percent Pakistani song
I'm surprised that nobody in the comments talked about improvisation. The Indian/Pakistani classical music IS Improvisation for the most part.
Love the reaction, The reaction shows how you understand the music & set-up ..
Kudos to you 💥
& For the song:- it's like the proverb:- A beauty you feel like seeing again & again still feels new
Ah .. you just missed the lyrics part when legend Rahat fateh ali khan sings all bow down .... He has legacy passed down from another legend Nusrat fateh ali khan ❤️ _ react to his stage performance and get to know more about India pakistani culture
6:06 it's Urdu language
This song is in Urdu and some Farsi words (Persian)
please react to " PHIR MILENGE" one of the greatest songs from COKE STUDIO. it has the greatest production and direction. the arrangements are so different and mesmerizing.
The words made her blush...can't deny that's what made her stop
Shout out to Javed Akhtar for the incredible lyrics.
Those are Riffs/ Sargam which are part of Pakistani and Indian Cultural Qawali which is a form of Cultural Pakistani and Indian Songs/ Music/ Message in which there are deep meanings and emotions,
Those riffs/ Sargam are also instructions for background musicians, drummers and other Instrumentalist on How, What, Which note and When to play the instruments so they are also extremely difficult at Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's level unachievable by most their whole life.
You can watch some popular Qawali by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to in which the riffs/ Sargam always comes before the drum beat because he is guiding his musicians and Instrumentalists with the riffs/ Sargam whilst singing at the same time.
Please react Indian's best soulful singer Arijit Singh's live song performance 🙏
There's no autotune for trained artists in the Indian subcontinent. It's pure hardwork and lifelong dedication to their art. They don't stop training and learning their entire lives
Indian and pakistanis singers are the best all over the world
How about Nescafe Basement's Sweet Child of Mine next, since you sang it a few days ago
Don't talk during the song, let it finish then give your feedback
Reaction q dekh raha hai fir..😂
Song he itna achha hai ki koe bich me bole toh gussah ajata hai😂
Please react to Rang by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Amjad Sabri from Coke Studio. It is so pure, just 2 best singers just owning the stage
Yes please do !
Yeah that's the one. Magical.
The drummer's name is Ahad Nayani he's one of the best in Pakistan and Rahat is the legend
It is urdu.
he's better than all the western singers and the lyrics are very beautiful no bad words or vulgar words unlike others.
If you want to learn singing just listen one song of Rahat everyday does not matter what language you speak or understand he is legend God of hitting notes
Aww really?
Her voice is actually like that!.
Please react to Arijit Singh's. Live performance 😭
This is classic Indian music. Before 1947, there was no Pakistan.
But, both singers are Pakistanis and they are wow. I love the smoothness of their voice.
Wait what?🤔
@@alihussain8532 Pakistan was apart of india before the split
Before 47 there was no India no Pakistan there was Subcontinent
Non stop obsession.
There was no india before 1947 . There was a subcontinent
@@s.s.m9936 a Pakistani singer praising ajanta statues in a Pakistani song!!! Bhai, he might be Pakistani by birth but his soul is hindustani ( not present day India)....hindustan is not a piece of land or religion....it's more of a culture and way of living....don't drag rahat and Nusrat sahab in this indo pak trifles....anyways best of luck ...and no aasmani Gyan pleasee
@@HomeVision2507 oh wow!! Is it me draiging irrelevant things here?? What is wrong with you people? Why the word Pakistan trigger you?? I very well know that Hindu was the name used for the people living on the banks of mighty Indus River so traditionally it didn't represent a religion but it was an ethnicity but it is of old days now..today when you say things like "there is no pakistani music, it is indian" you are clearly misleading a less knowledgeable or ignorant crowd. If you don't want people bringing nationalism in music stop doing it yourself n Give credit where it is due plus be honest n clear. I m giving you this "gayn" because you started it. Good luck to you too and Peace
u cant claim carnatic music which is unique to india founded by thyagaraja swami in 1600s
She is just falling into this song☺️❤
You never count rahat fateh ali khan in normal singers...not even his father , grandfather, great grand father..on n on n on❤❤
