The subtle difference is the influence of Persian, Arabic and even some Turkish in the Urdu language as opposed to Hindi being influenced by Sanskrit. One has to be familiar with Urdu or Hindi to be able to differentiate clearly, this particular song would be considered Urdu, many of the Bollywood songs would be more so a mixture of Hindi & Urdu or more Hindi influenced.
