Layered Cement Mountain Coasters | Coloring Cementall RapidSet Concrete

Hello again,
Thanks for taking a look at my video today!
I really enjoyed making these mountain scape #cement #coasters by layering up the product, but if I’m honest, I had no idea cement would be so hard to colour! I really love the subtle tints I achieved in the end but this wasn’t by choice. I wanted obvious and vibrant colours but there was just no chance that was going to happen. Maybe it’s just this particular brand that I used, Cementall Rapid Set, let me know if you’ve had better luck with another brand. Like I said though, I ended up really liking the subtle tints.
I finished these coasters off by giving them a thorough sanding on every surface to create a matte effect and to dull any sharpe edges. I think the final addition of the gold border really brought everything together too.
