My dad grew up farming with horses. Although we had a tractor when I was a kid, he still always used a draft horse to plow the garden. She was a huge gentle soul.
Watching his TH-cam channel has really got me interested in using draft animals on a small scale. Currently I’m training my large wethered goat to pack but also pull carts and garden implements.
This is a fantastic homestead and Charlie seems to be a happy man who finds fulfillment in his chosen path. I will visit his blog and website. I never heard of plowing with three donkeys before but donkeys are very easy-going and sociable animals so it's a good idea.
