I like how in Resident Evil 4, Umbrella wasn’t fully defunded and there was still hints of it still being alive, with Luis Sera, Jack Krauser, and Albert Wesker being associated with the company. It was better done in Remake
@@cloudshines812 the worst part was RE5 killing off Spencer instead of having climactic big fight with him turning into big monster to finally close the Umbrella saga and move on. But no, since he was offscreened, we got new Umbrella clones every game, because Capcom couldn't move on.
Paul Haddad's performance is criminally underrated especially for the time. Does anyone else think Quinton Flynn (Raiden in MGS, Axel in KH, etc) sounds a little like him?
I legit searched for the words “hey, it’s up to us to take out Umbrella” in hopes someone had cut that this precise clip with the ending song; and, in n the event that nobody hadn’t, I was going to clip it myself. Thank you!
I really wish there was a new game in the classic style. It should cover the downfall of Umbrella properly and close the classic tetralogy. All 4 of the main characters should be playable.
I love RE 4 and it’s one of my favorite games but bro I kind of wish that they actually made a 5th(counting Code:Veronica) game that ended the umbrella ark. I’m not saying that RE 4 should be deleted I’m just saying a different game should be occupying the title RE 4 but I still very much love RE 4
I think after Resident Evil Code Veronica They should have stopped and worked on a new bunch of heros In the Resident Evil world because all these guys are total cheese now, great games for the time but man its cheesey as fk.
@@throwacnt7603 hahaha~ man oh man, if you didn’t think original resident evil games weren’t ridiculous action horror movie style plots and RE4 was the turning point, you must love how the Remakes have made everything so serious. Seriously, I’m actually dreading Remake RE4 because, it looks like all the hammy charm is being sucked out. Like, the remake games are fun and are pretty polished (sans RE3’s later parts) but, that recent trailer of RE4 makes Leon to look less action hero and more survivor guilt ridden. It’s not a problem with this more connective narrative but, I worry we’re going to lose things like “Equiped with Ballistics too” or “You’re small time!” Either way, I’m just glad this ending remains the coolest for its time.
@@kinoleogeo7998 Those things have already been removed due to modern PC by Facebook on the VR version, sadly. I wouldn't expect those to come back. And I do prefer the more serious and consistent tone. Hope they remove almost all goofiness, not the fun or funny stuff, just the goofiness, out of RE4. Not a fan of Leon being guilt ridden, I hope you are wrong on that one or if they do I hope they have a damn good reason. I also hope for Umbrella to be brought back in some way but I doubt that one. Either way this is probably the very last RE mainline remake they will ever make. There's NO WAY they will remake RE5. I would be seriously surprised, that game is a landmine in today's world.
@@throwacnt7603 being honest, I hope they remake RE5 but with how originally the game was intended to be, more horror focused and only having Chris as the protagonist and Sheva as a supporting character, apparently the game was supposed to be less linear and the enemies seemed to be more aggressive as well

tbh Umbrella Chroncles did an amazing job if you consider it's entire point is being a "patch" in the RE lore

He’s a burnette in RE2 OG. Starting with 4, he changed to Blonde and I’m kind of glad they kept that style for every game afterwards
I think it’s mainly a CGI lighting issue, because both in the 3D model and the inventory screen icon, Leon’s hair is dark blonde
