0:03 This is the only 1960’s Paramount cartoon during the golden age to have its onscreen copyright date in standard numbers as opposed to Roman Numerals (which if used here like the others would be MCMLXIII) and is also the only Paramount cartoon to use the live action variant of the Paramount logo at the time and to use “A Paramount Release” instead of “A Paramount Picture”. According to various sources this apparently came out in December 1963, so this cartoon is now 60 years old. Happy diamond anniversary to this forgotten cat character who would later become a fox on TV.
When Seeger began producing a new series of cartoons for "MILTON THE MONSTER" (using Paramount Cartoon Studios personnel, including Myron Waldman and musical director Winston Sharples) in 1965, he changed Muggy Doo into a "Boy Fox", and altered his character a bit. Six episodes were produced.
Yes,supposedly Muggy Doo was created by Hal’s Wife Beverly. They changed him to a fox for the tv show because Hal said it better suited the characters crafty, scheming nature. Stuffy Durma was also originally a pig when he first appeared, when Milton was made he was changed to a human hobo.

I just found out about this cartoon three hours ago. Good researching!
I seen this short maybe on Nickelodeon's "Total Panic", "Cartoon Kablooey" package and "Weinerville" back in the early/mid 1990's.

She was credited as "Girl Creator". 😏
@@fromthesidelinesBeverly Arnold was probably the voice of Penny Penguin
Of course!
Can you imagine paying good money to go to a movie theater and this shows up as the short?
While watching Double Dynamite from 1951?
I'd love it.
