dear kristibbs UK guaranteed Latvia because you are in the Axis if youre in a faction that faction has a world tension percentage too even if you dont do anything ALL game if youre in a faction that has enough percentage to provoke a guarantee and you havent caused any tension they will still guarantee
Don't put submarines with your surface fleet, expect many repairs when fighting in arctic waters so assign all dockyards to repair, build enough destroyers to screen surface ships since at 18:42 your have 15 heavy cruisers 21 destroyers and 41 submarines and all but 2 of those destroyers are trying to get repairs but not many seem to be repairing (red harbor X/Y numbers means no dockyards available for repairs while ships are waiting). For the army motorize your supply and consider using logistics support company and possible rangers with snow upgrades and go grand battleplan for the supply reduction You spend a year building forts and AA to prepare but you should prioritize other things like trucks some dockyards for repairs and building destroyers and support equipment. I only see Portugal spam destroyers whenever i take their fleet in a peace deal so I am sure you could have easily prevented them from gaining naval supremacy with 15 heavy cruisers.

Bro not a single naval invasion happened until I took out the garrisons. Also I couldn't have kept going much longer. The front was huge and I only had 1-2 divisions per tile.
