I remember being a 10 year old and watching this after my dad and mom picked me from school early, i got home and changed and we went straight to the movies everyone in my family fell asleep but i was the only one who was awake. To this day i still love this movie even though it has its flaws, this movie will forever have a special place in my heart. Thank you so much for showing how GREAT this movie is and actually appreciating this masterpiece, I am so happy someone actually went out of their way to make this. Again, I cannot stress how thankful I am to you! TYSM.

Monsterverse peaked right here. I still like the new ones, but I can't imagine how much cooler they would've been if they maintained the dramatic scaling and tone. Godzilla in this one felt like a force of nature, whereas in the new ones he's more like a superhero (or anti-hero).

This is the movie i personal love. Sure kotm is my favorite movie cuz peak monsters but this is a perfect introduction to the universe we would discover. And it’s not a bunch of nothing unlike that stupid bird idiot nonsense.
