Another annoying feature is that higher notes play at lower amplitude, and that there's no way to make custom volume envelopes at all, or really any kind of good envelopes.
@@NORAMA01 The amplitude thing as indeed annoying andI have faked some AY stuff via custom chip and a ton of individual instruments and mod channels turning on and off each individual instrument of various quality and issues. From what I can tell, envelopes are odd, though someone has an idea about an envelope generator where you can draw and customize it. I'd like to add Ring modulation, Oscillator Sync and Amplitude Modulation but I needed to figure some stuff out since I am still pretty new to coding.
@@NORAMA01 Also how the higher notes play at a lower amplitude is due to loudness compensation apparently. Not sure if it is built in or has an option to disable it buried into the code. It would be nice to have an option to disable that for a more "true" experience. No promises though.

Ultrabox is honestly pretty underrated with it’s custom samples and FM synthesis, the other beepbox mods are just 🤢.
Modbox has some neat stuff but yeah, Ultrabox has the most feature wise, limitations and all.
