That’s a fact the most respectful places I’ve been was prison it was a hard adjustment being home bkuz people in the streets don’t understand how easily they lose their freedom a simple pardon me can save your life
I remember getting locked up 2 times within 1 year.. And every time I went to jail, I would sleep as much as I could in order to make the time go by faster. I called time traveling because time always moves slower in jail when you're awake because there's nothing to do.. But anyway, I didn't have any homies in there because I stopped being in the streets years ago doing dumb shit so I was alone and stayed to myself while also paying attention to all the kliqs, and crews and how things operated in jail overall because this was a whole new world for me.. Once I realized who I could and couldn't talk to, I ended becoming cool with this 1 dude name Montey.. Now I was scared asf, and made sure that I stayed by his side everyday so that I could at least have 1 solider by my side in case anything ever went down.. One day we were at chow and he was telling me how he always gets locked up around the same time every year on his birthday month in August which made me realize that we were both Leos born in the same month a few days a part so I felt even more of a connection because of that.. I got out some time later on that year and got locked up again the following summer around like June.. A few months goes by and it's the beginning of August and I'm at chow and I'm back at it again with my routine of minding my business, staying to myself, scanning my surroundings at all times etc. All of a sudden, I hear someone yell my name! I look up and it was Mont!! I was so happy to see a familiar face and immediately grabbed my chow and moved over to his table but only this time Mont wasn't the same.. He had a prison issued walker this time. He got shot multiple times because people were trying to kill him out there and that's when I realized that I need to make better choices in life if I ever wanted to live a meaningful one and I've never been back since..
