I love this cause its true. I got 22 years for a manslaughter. I did it when i was 15 years old and been down since. Im going on my 14th year. I remember how it felt that day. I remember the false lies i told myself to justify it. I grew up since and although i have some time to go i still appreciate every moment. Cause it takes less then a minute. IT'S TRUE

$15 hour minus federal tax, state tax, Social security, health amd dental plan.....so basically like $8 to $9 an hr. We're still suckered either way. Not to mention the money spent on gas for 4 to 5 round trips each week...

Most definitely. I didn't go to the yard. But I gave up 15 years of waisted time trying fit in with people I f@@@@@ hate now. But I can't blame them because I had a choice but didn't know better at the time. Until I started doing better things is when I discovered I cheated myself out of being myself. I'm the shit just being me. And I'll die with regret from waisting that time with people I wish I never met.
I type this from a Texas prison, from beto 1 unit. Wallo is needed out there for the young ones today because I promise u don't want to come here. I've learned alot that I didn't notice while out there being stupid, it took me minutes like said to get 9 years in this he'll. There is nothing to honor about being a "thug" remember you dont have to prove none to nobody when u know who you are. Been in here since october 2017 my release date is 2026 hopefully earlier. Always a make the most of every day don't take them for granted, please don't. Much love to everybody out there I will be home soon...

Realist shit I heard in a while. The crazy part is you can tell someone something useful and even tell them how you been through some of the same exact experiences but people still going to learn the harder way. Only that small percentage of individuals actually retain wisdom and use it to save themselves. That small percentage was me. One decision at age 16 changed my outcome. I was in a gang when I was young and we would do anything the OG said to gain respect. Most missions were done together because everyone had to play their own part and put in their own work. Usually I would always be down to put in work but something told me to stay out of that one.(mainly because I didn’t think that particular lick would be enough to split between us). Well, turn out the next day all my guys were fresh to death, gold chains, and money falling out their pockets. I was kinda jealous because I missed out. That robbery lead to a connection of other robberies which landed all of my best friends from high school hefty sentences. Even my boy that just hangs out with us(not a gang member) got a few years. My boy Monty got 20 years in five minutes. For those of you in the streets but know there’s more to life for you, listen to this man. We all make bad decisions but not all of them come with the same price tag.
