Sir, my lawyer is saying that this info is false, Skilled trade is managed by Ministry of Labour but MELT is provided by MTO Ministry of Transportation in collaboration with MAESD Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development. Although both are provincial bodies. MELT was introduced due to road safety issues and complains. You can claim 50 points only if IRCC explicitly says yes it is possible for MELT to be considered as COQ certificate of Qualification that was lawyers response please clarify
I checked the ircc website, there ircc said the need certificate of qualification to prove that 50 points. But when i went to Ontario trade website and search commercial tractor-trailer driver and read the article, clearly said they can’t provide certificate of qualification and that’s why it is not fall under skill trade. Please read all the info carefully before you claiming 50 points, because ircc clearly said if applicants failed to show certificate of qualification, they subtract 50 points from file.
However, noc 73300 has been added to the list. So we r eligible for coq but, does melt ontario counts for it . Since, official site of skill trade ontario says that there is no exam for this trade. So , no certification??
so if the EE profile is already opened, are there any extra actions needed to claim those 50 points? i have only 25 for certification as a AZ truck driver, but it was like that from the beginning before this news.
@Seirah teach your Indian international students kids that "tutti" is good in washroom. No at the back of trailer nor at the shore of Lake Erie. In Puunnjab it may be OK "hugna" at river Bank but in Canada it's not OK.
I have class 1 license from quebec. And i have passed no MELT certification because it is not required here to attain class 1 license . So am I eligible to secure 50 points?
Hi sir I have Az license and melt certificate from trucking school So is that enough to claim 50 points even if I’m working in another field Please reply And thanks
