I have a good portion of the citadel line, the entire MH line and the old vallejo game line. I swear the vallejo game line gives me the best results. Im trying real hard to love the monument stuff but if i had one last model to paint, i would do it with Vallejo and contrast paints.
AP Fanatics replaced anything I had in my collection. Very happy with the colour selection, cost and performance. Haven't had a single issue yet. They thin out well but most work well straight out of the bottle. Their greys are abnormally thick I noticed. I have some older AP Speedpaints which suffer from reactivation issues but I use those for terrain tasks where it won't be an issue. Have a fairly decent selection of Speedpaint 2.0 bottles. I use it with a touch of Lahmian medium to smooth it out and don't get any patchiness or staining. Beautiful stuff. Also - AP Black kicks ass :)
My Pro Acryl Titanium White has done the same thing. It's also chunked up and I have to stick it on a vortex mixer for quite some time to get it out. And even then it comes out like cottage cheese.
With how much you like AK Interactive products, you should look into the Ammo by Mig paint range and products. They're made by a guy named Mig Jimenez, he was the painter and modeler side of companies like Mig Productions, Abteilung 502, and AK Interactive. Long story short, he's the dude that created streaking grime. I always find it odd, that with how much influence this guy has had on the hobby, how few people know who he is. Though I will say that I find his basic acrylic layer paint range to be the least interesting thing he does. It can also be very hard to find the products in the US, I think Michigan Toy Soldier, Spraygunner, and scalehobbyist are the only places online I've seen carrying the full range.
dude, I love this episode! it's even better here than on spotify!
Can't wait for the Fanatic comparison video!

I think it's natural for titanium based whites to gum up over time. Mine has done the same
Don't ingest metallic paints.... who knew?
