I love the job answer. I was thinking the exact same thing for that person. It’s okay to get a job to support yourself while doing what you love. Eventually it’ll all come together.
I gotta confess.. since summer when my bf broke up with me I wasnt able to feel good, think positive and even draw that much. I shut down all my commissions and started "living" as in a survival mode.. My whole family lives 370km away from me and they all got covid, dad ended up in a hospital on new years eve and I just ignored whole life. For month it is a struggle at work and everything is hard.. I didnt even watch youtube and after soo long I opened it, Sha'an with her colors just sucked me into this video and Im starting to feel like there is a life.. there are colors and sun and calmness and that Im still alive
I love the variety in your vlogs! It doesnt have to be studio based or illustrative all the time to be interesting (for me, anyways). I"m very excited for the bad apple tees!! I loved the BTS of you creating the commercials! Its cool to see your work reflected in other mediums, and I enjoy watching you and rocket work together 💕

I love the process and BTS videos, more more more!!! I find it so funny that it even crossed your mind that this wouldn't be interesting. I watch some studio vlogs of creatives that I like, and I make it 2 mins in and I have to tap out. I have never once thought that in your videos, they are so interesting......to me at least.

These sort of videos are really nice to watch as a creative professional. It's palette cleansing, invigorating and validating all at once to see how someone else works. It's just like a virtual job shadow. Thank you for sharing your process sis.
I totally agree with you on working part-time alongside trying to find your feet in the creative field, I worked as a waitress and it was beneficial for me in so many ways - it gives you financial flexibility, it lets your creative mind rest and recharge which can surprisingly help with productivity, also it's really social, which isn't for everyone but working in the creative field especially freelance can be very isolating. I'm back studying at the moment but reckon I'd keep my waitress job even if it was just a half shift a week if I became a full time freelancer for all of the perks.
