I typically take Radlands (I just grab the small box out of my Super Deluxe copy) because my nephew loves playing it. This year I'll also bring Dice Throne Santa vs Krampus to start spreading the holiday spirit. I've bought my parents some games over the years, so they already have Calico, Takenoko, Castles of Burgundy, and a few others on the shelf that we play, too. Happy Thanksgiving!
Your dog is adorable. Yeah, my family wont play board games unless I bring them over, sometimes given them a bribe in candy or money to convince them, lol. Great picks, I own some of these games. I also gift card games to teachers for Christmas, maybe a good a idea for a video? I am a new subscriber. You are doing a great job!
Thank you again for commenting!! 🤗 Bribing with money or candy is a great idea! I will have to incorporate that in hahaha. Awwww thank you so much for taking the time to say that I REALLY appreciate it!! 🥰 Definitely learning as we go! Thank you so much for subscribing! That is a fantastic idea for a video! Let me know any and all videos you have haha I'll take the inspiration any day! I hope you and your family have a lovely Thanksgiving!
Recommendations for board games for picky families: "No thanks" card game, "Push" card game, "Drop it" board game, "Wits and Wagers" board game, "Sheriff of Nottingham" board game, "Point Salad" card game. "The Chameleon" board game. They have simple rules and they are super fun for beginners and families.
When I go to visit my family, I will take Las Vegas Royale (play classic the first round, and in the last two rounds add one casino each, to slow drip the rules/ trick people who think games are too complicated) Abandon All Artichokes, and Push all for the non gamers. And in case I get a chance to show my sister amd her husband a game, I will have Space Station Phoenix and maybe another. Dont want it to be like the summertime meetup we had where I had a trunk filled with games, and only played four or five hahaha. Thanks a lot, doggo and hooman.
Some great suggestions. I just played the Hunger with my family last week. Have you tried the expansion yet? It looks like it will make it even better. I will probably drag out New Salem for Thanksgiving again this year, that was easy enough to teach and somewhat seasonal.
We don't have the expansion! I will have to look into it! Thanks for the mention! Ohhh I have thought about getting New Salem! I do have Salem 1692 and we played that at Halloween last year. Great Fall themed games!

I love that you also use that tactic to trick people haha. I will have to look up some of those games and give them a try! 🤗
