@ Do the licensing rules allow you to use 15 seconds, but not a second more? Maybe same with dialogue “sound bites” too? I know this licensing stuff is a huge issue

I'm actually not entirely sure how they worked it out legally, but I do know 15 seconds the sweet number on social media most of the time, although now their are longer clips allowed as well. Definitely not an expert on that front. 😊

@ That is kind of the front I think. A big confusing front of Copyright Law and mostly, Universal Music Group, for so many You Tubers or other “creators” dealing with music.

@@botanyandboard linjaa is a tile laying game. Each tile has lines with angles or end points. It's not on bgg but can be found from shops in NL. I;m not aware of a translation, but the game is language independent. Kind of like Metro, a Queen game of old.

I have to work tomorrow to do accruals since they are due next Monday at noon I was like welp looks like I will be working this week lol but I'm feeling accomplished at least now that hopefully I can just relax and read and game and whatnot the rest of break after we get back from my parents for Thanksgiving.

The game though is sooooo pretty 😍 the board and all the components are just top notch even at the retail version it's so nice!! Even the box kids are nice quality 😆

I can offer milk in your coffee, but no desert. It would be cute if they had little mini seasonal food expansion packs. Like a pumpkin spice latte for Fall, and maybe egg nog for Christmas. I really like the game as well! While light and straight forward there are plenty of decisions to make on each turn that it feels like a good level of planning and strategy. The Cape Baras and the artwork was also adorable. It's a definite hit. I need do do a little review graphic for IG. I keep telling myself each game and book as I play and read to just make the graphic... but I can't ever seem to get into the groove of right in the moment. New Years goals haha.

you should definitely have a BLT... so so good. We have been going to this same place for probably two months in a row lately and I get the same BLT + egg every week and fries... hints my need to get to working out lol 😆 hahahahha it's hard to look away from it. Hahaha you dance Todd! We really like it!! I love the competitive nature at two. I haven't played it solo yet but it does play solo! The chiefs played yesterday too so we had our Chiefs stuff on instead but when they play the lions later this season I might have to wear the lions hat 😆

​@botanyandboard, the chiefs are killing it this year... every year! As a Michigander, I am still shocked by how good the Lions are. Most of my 58 years have been disappointing as a Lions fan.

Yesss my Ficus Tineke! It's one of my favorites!! My lower leaves some of them have been getting a brown mushy outside and I have looked it up but there seems to be lots of potentials with what's going on but ive just tried to be very consistent with my waterings and haven't had any browning on the new leaves for quite some time so 🤞🏼 I love love loved it!! It's the very last ending for me that sealed the deal! If you have Spotify it gives you basically an audiobook and a half a month with your subscription. Which is cheaper than buying one audiobook most times although you can listen again and again if you so wish. Sleep Tight also was so so good!

Hahaha I take it Sheena isn't a fan of horror movies 😆 I love bag building, it makes it a ton of fun to anxiously pull out the next token. As if I need my anxiety increased 😅 We actually have never gotten a single trick or treater... which this year is actually a good thing because our front door hasn't opened for about a month..... I'll just let that sink in 😂 We live in a 1940s Tudor home and have already piered the foundation once, and yet here we are again. Day by day.... lol. So I'm trying that method, and trying to shush Shoulder Baley from telling me to buy more games... although she has been in my ear a lot about backing Madcala.. so here we go again 😅

@@botanyandboard Yeah, horror movies get a big no from Sheena, but I like a good scary-creepy movie here and there. So they have to be man cave movies for when I go work on my puzzles. I’m thinking of starting a new one today, although I should go out after work and empty my plant pots before the frost cracks them. But it’s just starting to snow a bit. I really don’t want to go out there… Wow, big wow, I’m surprised you don’t get any trick or treaters, seeing your vlogs I would have thought there’d be some kids around. We get about 20 each year. Some of my coworkers think it's crazy that we only get 20 because they get hundreds. Just non-stop for hours, lineups of kids. Oh, that sounds like some major shifting to stick a front door like that. We’re still debating if we buy an older home or a new build for our next step in life. There are lots of older century homes for sale on the Atlantic coast, but I’m sure they come with many quirks of stuck doors and other things. Our place is just about as old as yours but it has generally been solid minus the vaulted ceilings causing big ice dams in the winter because there is basically no insulation in them. I’m trying to break out of buying so many games. It gets silly sometimes because we don’t have enough time to play them all yet I still buy and buy. Perhaps we really do need to move because our FLGS is literally just a 5 minute walk away. I can’t really go anywhere without going by it. Way too convenient to stop in! But I just decided to pass on a few KS campaigns, either to not get them at all or wait until retail. We might win over shoulder Baley!

Wyatt hates scary movies as well.. I had him watch Poltergeist last night because I hadn't seen it and when we were getting ready for bed he's like "well thanks to you I'm sure I'll have weird dreams, when can we watch a hallmark" 😂 Also after watching the Poltergeist I understand the Final Girl feature film much more haha. OMG SNOWING!!! It was 81 degrees in KC today and super super windy, I hope we aren't getting that weather moving our way haha. When we bought our house I thought we would have trick or treaters, and we moved in literally the week of Halloween so I went crazy and bought sooo much candy, and absolutely no one came lol. Our road is a pretty busy road though, so I think kids must just stick a little more inside the neighborhood streets. My parents live in the country as well, so we never got any growing up either. Although my friends are having kids these days so maybe one of these days I'll just make them baskets or something and ask them to be the only few that come by hahaha. Hundreds would be insane!! I'm like it sounds amusing and fun for an hour and then I would be like okay house is closed. I know there is sometimes no winning with houses, people who have new builds seem to think they aren't built like they used to be, and then mine who was built "well" has a little more settling and cracking than is desired lol. 😅 We can start a movement against shoulder Baley 😂 That would be super dangerous only 5 mins away.... although maybe you should use that as you only go and buy one game at a time and then come back home and play it before you can go back. 😆

​@@botanyandboard Hallmark always wins over scary here 😄 That's our standard thing when playing games inside, is having a Hallmark movie playing in the background. If one of us takes a bit to play their turn the other can catch up with the movie. I just wish they were still playing fall movies instead of Christmas. Too early, I think! Although I think there might be some fall ones in the on demand section. I should look next time! The problem with my FLGS is its rather small, so if there's something I might be interested in it's a buy now or never kind of situation, because they don't have a lot of stock and don't tend to get restocks. Shoulder Baley seems to thrive on scarcity 😅

We did play the goonies yesterday morning and it wasn't my favorite at 2. Since one person is the game master I felt like a bigger group would have been better so it probably wasn't the best purchase for me. He's my neighbor down the street and those dogs are so spoiled he walks them everyday and sometimes multiple times a day! Well staying in and playing some new games and watching hocus pocus sounds glorious to me!!! Oh I know I couldn't do even one of the things in isolation that the juggler was pulling off! It was part comedy part magic show and I found I really liked the comedy to pair with the magic! We have a good time!
