What I love the most about all these vids of OG;s is that alot of them are up there in age now and are now being able to get some homage, thanks to Kev Mac and modern technology. I used to love talking to my OG. He was 76 years old.He used to love that I would come and ask him a million questions about our hood. When I would go home to visit, I would take him a gallon of Black Velvet...OGs love when the younger homies come and hang out with them.....Thank you Kev Mac for this history!!

El luchador de negro I've associated a lot of the gang violence to rap music. Went to camp as a youngin listening to rap music (gang banging music), hit the county while listening to hood rap and later I did 5 years in the pen while listening to hood music. I feel like our culture has become intertwined especially gangster rap. The most fascinating thing about this is that they were putting in work while listening to music that did not harbor hate. This shows that the hate we have for each other is ingrained in us with or without the type of music that perpetuates a culture of violence. It is more of a systemic issue but I do believe the music influences in many ways...
Rap music don't create violence..
