Thank you for the straight forward interview questions and answers. I appreciate the time you took to actually show the answers visually. I am an older worker who has been in IT for 18 years. I have certifications but during interviews I am asked technical questions whereas I should be asked to "show me" because a lot of times one acquires new skills but never know that they has proper names. I just know how to do it and get it done. With your video you gave me talking points and gave me verbiage so I can discuss what I have done on the job. Also, please create a video like this one for network troubleshooting step interview questions.
You're not alone! I'm not even that "old" (I'm in my mid 20s) but I've been in IT since I was a teenager for small businesses so I go far back enough that some of these terms were not in common or layman's usage. So to avoid confusing non-technical users, "higher" level jargon was very often avoided. I definitely relate to the whole "I can see it and know what that is, and I can get it done" but then getting stumped over an interviewer saying "so you worked for an MSP?" and I guess it doesn't help that it's difficult for me to visualize acronyms when said lol. Managed Service Provider. We weren't SLA level contractors or big enough to be considered MSP, just mostly set up and as needed support. But yeah that made me realize I need to brush up on current terms. Good luck out there!!
So far this training video is pretty good. I would suggest not to put so many distractions of objects popping up during the teaching process. I know you don't have control of the number of ads but that is also very distracting and annoying.
Excellent Video. I'm moving into the next role as tier 1 support, Systems Engineer and I need to become familiar with the ins and outs of AD, other necessary server roles, as well as the full process of Server deployment, migration, system replacement, Server spec requirements, etc. Subscribed!

I think running through the workstation 15.5 install process is a waste of time for an interview about AD, although its helpful in general, not really specific to AD, this is basic server install method for VM's.
It's a good video, helped out quite a bit but I would have liked more explanations in the later third of it for the settings that were skimmed past, which I thought was one of the good parts about the earlier sections (the fact that you shortly described what each option does)

To create a new user, follow these steps: Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Users and Computers to start the Active Directory Users and Computers console. Click the domain name that you created, and then expand the contents. Right-click Users, point to New, and then click User.
Great question Sankaresh ! FSMO roles prevent conflicts in an active directory and, at the same time, give you the flexibility to handle different operations within the active directory. They can be broadly divided into five roles, out of which, the first two are for the entire forest while the remaining three pertain to a particular domain The 5 FSMO roles are: Schema Master - one per forest. Domain Naming Master - one per forest. Relative ID (RID) Master - one per domain. Primary Domain Controller (PDC) Emulator - one per domain. Infrastructure Master - one per domain. I don't recommend this video. Any monkey can go through an installation. There is no understanding FSMO roles. No understand of trouble shooting. I would never ask 95% of what this video goes through

How to create user and etc
