Heres a tip for anyone having trouble with the ai; spam the light attack auto combo.
I'm dead fucking serious.
The ai doesn't know what to do when your spamming the auto combo so it'll either just continue blocking the combo, or let itself get hit. Just choose whichever characters you want (preferably fast ones). I found this out when I was having trouble with some of the later fights on the Hyperbolic Time Chamber course (hard mode of course).

I seen this earlier and just got to try it. Man! I can't thank you enough. I've literally been trying for about a week now and with this little bit of information I'm able to get S Rank on the first 3 fights. I got all dlc characters on playstation but I need ssgs for gamepass. I haven't got Vegeta yet. But you made my grade go from a C to a B first try. So I think I got this in the bag

@@RLSENCRO actually no, you can get vegeta SSB by getting 300,000 zeni, and goku SSB with 500,000 zeni, you only need to get the zeni, not buying it atleast i think, i didnt buyed they but i know it is possible

Okay everyone sure he is button mashing, but this mode doesn't exactly reward you for going manual. The enemies are bulkier (so a manual combo will do only a little more than a auto-combo) and will hit even harder as he goes on. If you don't reach the top 2 rankings (S or A), then you don't get the character unlock.
Poke Miner the harder you hit them the vetter because you beat it quicker

When the AI can do as much damage as they did to hit from 8:00 to 8:06, I don't exactly think that button mashing should be bashed on. He lost 1/2 his health from a 3-hit attack followed up by 2 super attacks... Looks more like he got hit by Beerus' level 3 super.

18:38 Shit like that is why I'm struggling with this mode lol. He legit demolished Buu in less than 30 seconds despite him having full health. It's fine to make the AI smarter to give it a higher difficulty but the fact that 2 combos can kill you if done right is honestly insane and unrealistically op. I've raged so much xD But then I'm new to the game and was trying to get combos and stuff down. Never thought about spamming the auto combos against them.

Couldn't handle watching all of this after realizing you're mashing in the same combo over and over again.
The AI has no clue on what to do when you spam the auto combo
When you're doing it, you'd be surprised how hard it is, and by hard I mean, making sure it connects before the AI rips you a new one because it actually knows how to actually combo.

Guys for anyone still watching in 2019-2020 heres how you get a A rank or S rank first off u need to beat the enemies with all team members alive secend off u need to beat the enemies within 180 secends third off finish with at least 1 team member at at least Half or 50% health and fourth off this isn't necessary but it helps your chances if you finish with a dramatic finish hope this guide helps you

It's impossible. AI is input reading me like a mf. Until you get to stage 4, the game reads the counter to EVERY INPUT!!

Just letting everyone know this is NOT easy and also they increase the damage the Ai does in the final game and decreases yours as well ...I've tried and failed many times already...I love this game
One Super from the AI hits 80% of health while a super from the user does 20%.. One autocombo from them and its 50% health... you have to be nearly perfect to reach the final stage.

How do you unlock the Enemy Warrior and Android 21 hard mode arcs? I finished all the story modes.
I just spent 3 hours at 2 am attempting to beat this, I didn't know I had to get a rank , and I beat it without and found out the hard way...
Just dragon rush/ super dash in every battle. Try not to die or get a D rank in any battle.
Unlocking ssgss goku and ssgss vegeta was really hard, but ultimately worth it as both of them are on my main team alongside beerus. The rest of arcade mode? Never attempting it again
