It's reverse. I've had 3 of these bad boys at separate times. And I Sold the first 2 just because I needed the money. Got one now but the right channel gave out about a year ago. I'm no technician so it's just been sitting until I can get it fixed professionally. Also got the matching tuner a pl-530 and Hpm-100s I had the 9500 equalizer but Sold that as well. I love me some vintage pioneer.
I have the SA-7500ii that I gave a full restore and its a great little amp. It connected to a RT-707 and CT-F4242. I wouldn't mind upgraded to a 9500.
Those SA 9500’s were fantastic units. And for a Marantz to rival that kind of power, you’re talking a 2270, 2275, 2285 receiver. And with the Marantz tax, one of those will set you back a mortgage payment in restored condition. The pioneer is most certainly the bargain here as far as functionality. A $200 tuner and you’re in business.
I have the 9500ii and the 9500 eq.Marantz units are long gone.
@@ronm7394 lol, as I’ve gone through this exercise I’ve contemplated doing the same.
9100’s have the leakage issues like the 9500’s Andy?😊
