How about mounting it in an actual helmet and using it while riding... Like intended ?

I just bought one, and I think it is great. The only thing is that the support for voice assistants is a bit narrow in my opinion.,
At least with an iPhone, Siri can't execute a lot of commands when your phone is locked. Meaning that when your phone is in your pocket and you request siri to navigate to a certain destination it says that you need to unlock your phone first. It does not give you the permissions to do so otherwise.
Other than that, great piece of kit.

Thanks for your feedback burmwout it's always good to here from anyone thats got real-world experience of anything we review.
As im a Android Man it seemed to stay in open voice support but iguess that may be unique to android and not IOS.

unfortunately I don't have the units anymore to test them directly against each other but what i can tell you is the bout sounded good.

Funnily enough I just found out about this unit today and this is the most recent review on youtube! The 3S Plus seems like a very sleek solution for someone like myself who only rides solo or with a pillion. If I do feel the need to upgrade at some point because I end up with a bunch of biker friends this can be relegated to a pillion helmet or backup helmet of some kind. I might weigh up the benefits of a 5S compared with the 3S (better audio quality and less need to upgrade in future?), however given I do exclusively ride solo at the moment I think the 3S is overall a better proposition given the mega slim profile.

Hey Geshmaal first of all thanks for watching the review and yes your right at some point you will need to upgrade the 3S if you buy it but that's not to say its a fantastic bit of kit.

New subscriber. Thanks for this review. I'm headed off to purchase one. These ear buds are driving me nuts. Now iPhone automatically turns your volume down (to protect your health). It's annoying. I don't want to talk and ride, but I sure want to hear my music/podcasts in my helmet.
