Paula I cannot thank you enough,!. Before lockdown I was seeing a Chiropractor once a month. I was really worried about my shoulder and back pain during lockdown since I couldn't see the Chiropractor. I don't know what made me watch and try my first online yoga tutorial, maybe it was the pain, but since I've been following your playlists, my back pain has GONE. shoulder pain... GONE. I feel like a new man, and I don't think I'll be needing the Chiropractor again. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart :)
Good on you for taking the time to practice and I'm so glad to hear that the videos have been helpful - and really hope you won't need to see a chiropractor again too! xox
That was really amazing. I think I’ve realised my body needs yin yoga. Such deep release and the first time I’ve cried after a yoga pose. Thankyou Paula - please can we have more yin yoga videos. 💕
Sounds like you dropped deep into the practice, thank you so much for sharing, it really is appreciated. Have you tried the recent release 'Yin for the upper body': th-cam.com/video/fKcUSlxd59M/w-d-xo.html There are a few others available too and more on the way soon x
I love love love your classes. You are my favourite of all yogi's. You somehow get into places that other TH-cams just don't. Thank you!!! My one hope is that you make more classes without music. Music is so personal, and I match my playlist to what I feel my body is needing. Changing the music when watching the same video over and over brings a freshness to my practice Also personal preferences are so varied. Some may love the music chosen, I feel like so often the music is dirge like and depressing. I so much prefer to play my own music playlist.
Ever since quarantine started me and my friend face time every morning and spend 1hr-1&1/2 following your yoga practices, your videos are our favorite. Hope you make more Yin yoga practices, thank you!
Bless you, Paula. I've practiced with ALL of your videos every day since the first week of the pandemic broke in Indonesia. It has been a big help mentally and physically.
I enjoyed very much this gin yoga with your calming beautiful voice & music. I have been doing the yoga over ten years and you are my best instructor. Thank you so much fir all of your wonderful classes. Specially Hip opening is my biggest challenging problem.
Wow! That was amazing and I don’t know how you do it but you always say the thing I need to hear. I started laughing when you said to stay still because I really don’t like sitting with discomfort, ever! Thank you once again. X
This was AMAZINGGGGGG!!! I did have trouble with pose at 6:58, i came out of that 3 times but that could be because of the tight muscle. Loved the piano music in the back. The slow paced talking and voice. LOVE IT. I didn't know my hips were so tight. I legit cried!
Thank you for the intense session. As a body therapist I know when there is tension in the muscles there are always kept emotions. And that experience I always make with Yin Yoga. Warm greetings from Berlin
I have been struggling with low back pain hip and knee for years, sitting, walking, standing sometimes unbearable…..I did this once acne I am not kidding immediate relief, I could sit and walk without any pain. I have see chiros, physics osteopaths, for years, focusing on hip strength and core strength….thank you…
This is exactly what I need in this moment-I appreciate the combination of asanas, time portions. Extremely helpful, thanks again Paula. A bit more in depth-am experiencing some tingling on each lower legs when in the asana (around 14:20 of video) of x'd leg knees on top. I did back off of the forward stretch which was helpful. (I am experiencing pain the L soas so am paying attention-not from asana to be clear, sciatica.) I rested my forehead on the x'd leg (both sides). Doing the asana (at about 27:00 on) I can easily wrap the R leg over the L, though unable let it drop fully to the R (soas pain) so am backing off of the full leg drop, feels odd though-maybe insert a cushion to support legs so I can let go of legs and upper back/arm? No problem fully dropping on the L side with arm outstretched and shoulders down. The piano is a lovely touch btw, a beautiful piece of music. Thank you Paula! _()_
Thanks for the lovely feedback - yes absolutely use cushions to prop up in the supine gomukhasana twist (27:00). Sounds like you are really listening to what your body needs which is great xx
This was seriously wonderful! My hip flexors are always sore. I've tried all kinds of stretches, but this routine really made a huge difference. I also did all asleep at the end, lol. Thank you again, and I wish you all the very best, love, Amy
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I have a yin for the upper body coming up soon, but you could try this one in the meantime that also has some lovely upper body poses: th-cam.com/video/pnim55atwwA/w-d-xo.html xx
Thank you so much Paula! Had pain in my back but it feels better already. I love your slow piano music as well. Could you maybe tell me the name of the music/pianist?
It's a pleasure! Yes the piano music is really lovely, we purchased some stock music awhile ago and I've tried to locate the artist but haven't been able to yet, I will have a better look and try to get back to you. xx
Hi Paula . I am so glad I found you! I have this plantar fasciitis since long, also leg pains ,do you have any particular asanas for that? Much love , Chitra
Thank you for the lovely feedback. Great question - I would usually encourage to be more active, however in yin yoga the emphasis is more on finding ways to support the body (with props if needed) so the musculature can release. So if knee pain is an issue then perhaps try to prop yourself up (block underneath hip of front leg) and blanket underneath back knee, you could also have a bolster in front of you to lay forward on. This is very different though from working actively in the pose and if this feels better for your body, I say listen to that - get what you need out of the practice (but probably don't hold for as long 2-3min would be plenty). xx
Hi....just finished this practice. Went for a chiropractic adjustment on griday and she said to do hip openers....pidgeon, warrior poses amd stay away from srenghtners for he time being. My pelvis is slightly unalighned with tight muscles. It does feel better already i have to say and this routine felt good. Do you recommend pidgeon without a block.....thanks
Thanks for the lovely feedback. I would continue practicing with a block if that is what you are used to. Pidgeon pose is very strong and having some support is useful, especially if your hips sit off the mat quite a bit. Hope that is useful and thanks for watching. :) p

A family member is suffering with back pain. He’s stubborn & won’t take yoga advice! I know it’ll help him from the first session.
That was really amazing. I think I’ve realised my body needs yin yoga. Such deep release and the first time I’ve cried after a yoga pose. Thankyou Paula - please can we have more yin yoga videos. 💕
