Your videos are really interesting and I am enjoying they are not biased. I have a suggestion for the followings:
Some of the dual power 12v/120v tire inflators (optional battery) + preset PSI auto-shutoff :
      1. CRAFTSMAN V20 Inflator (CMCE520B)
      2. Avid Power Tire Inflator Air Compressor, 12V DC / 110V AC Dual Power Tire Pump (ACAP322)
      3. JACO SmartPro 2.0 AC/DC Digital Tire Inflator
      4. BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX Cordless Tire Inflator, Cordless & Corded Power (BDINF20C)
      5. Slime Dual Power Tire Inflator (120V/12V)
      6. TACKLIFE A6 PLUS Tire Inflator
      7. DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Tire Inflator (DCC020IB) connected to ac through the N557514 power supply
plus any other pump you think is good to try.
      Interested in:
      1. Time to pump a tire 0 to 35 psi.
      2. Time to pump a tire 0 to 80 psi.
      3. Accuracy of the gauge when the pump is not pumping. (The difference between the gauge and a calibrated gage)
      4. Consistency of the gauge (showing almost the same result when tried a few times even if it is off by some PSI) (metric: Standard deviation)
      5. Accuracy of the auto-shutoff at correct PSI.
      6. Running time before turns off because of getting hot.
      7. Build quality if possible.
      Thanks!

I bought into the Dewalt system years ago too so that's what I have. Mine seems to add point one PSI which makes up for the air lost when you unscrew the valve adapter. Only fail on mine is a design one - the older tall 3 amp hour batteries are taller than the compartment they slide into so the inflator sits on the battery, not it's feet.

It's nice that the Bauer and the DeWalt both offer high volume inflators as well. Even some of the better high pressure inflators are not well suited for inflating high volume items like pool floaties. Personally, I use my 12V Viair 300P for high pressure, and my cordless 20V DeWalt DCE100 for high volume inflation. I've thought about replacing the Viair with a cordless device, but it just works so well, and 12V power is never far away from my tires. I'm quite confident the Viair 300P would do a much better job getting that truck tire to 80psi.

I think a better test for the high pressure tire would have been to run the pumps as they actually tell you to in the manuals, i.e. limiting the continuous duty time to what was specified and including the cool-down time, and see how long it would take to actually get to the 80 psi. Though this would have made for a much longer test, so I understand why you might not want to do it that way.

I race autocross and the ryobi inflator is a standard for tons of competitors for airing our tires back up for the drive home. The holidays usually have it on sale for $25 without battery/charger too. I've even ran mine over with the car and while it did crack the base it still functions and allows the battery to seat properly. A rubber band around it also fixes it so you don't have to hold the trigger. Just don't forget you are disabling a safety.

    Nice video!
Harbor Freight really surprised me. Many of the issues with these style pumps is duty cycle/heat. The heat generated by the pumps plus being in an enclosed case with just slotted vents is the main cause of failure. I've disassembled many failed pumps and...
1-The pumps heat up and melt the housing its press fitted into.
2- The electrical components. Wires, terminals, switches etc. are under designed for the use most people subject these units to.
The Harbor Freight pump/motor is open to the air which is a big plus.
I 've owned a Master Flow branded 12vdc pump for almost 20 years. Just the construction and gauge of the power cord can tell you a lot. It's a $100 pump but its built like it.

For everyone wanting a battery powered one. Keep in mind that the heat from a car can damage the battery over time. So you may need to replace the battery if that is something you are able to do.
After having a fancy battery included pump that had a pressure cutoff setting, battery, and vacuum have the battery degrade to almost nothing and an exploded coke make the gauge quit working. I think I'll be getting the corded harbor freight so I don't have to worry about battery degradation. Then I can use my car's onboard pressure sensors to be ready to turn it off fropm inside the car.
With how cheap and fast it is as well as how robust it is, I think a corded harbor freight will be worth it over anything with a battery.

Great video! If I didn’t already carry a power source I would go with the Air Hawk because it is small and has the 12V source cord in case the battery is dead. Most of my cordless power tools are Milwaukee however without an alternative 12V way to use it I wouldn’t get that one. I've been carrying a bigger lead-acid type jump starter for years. It is the same model a tow truck used to jump start my friend’s car. I plug my 12V compressor into that so I don't have to keep my engine running when inflating my tire. I use that jump starter to power an electric blanket, laptop, and charge my phone when I don’t want to run the car. The main issue about battery inflators is if your car has no power, it doesn't matter whether your tire is flat or not.

Hey there , I've been watching your great vids for a long time and really appreciate your very respectable testing/comparison discipline. I would like to suggest that in this comparison vid, there are a couple details that might be somewhat variable. Your selection of units to compare is very practical and complies with the regular price range to use differential. I do realize that some users will easily pay for the higher priced units to ensure reliability, but there are a few very good lower priced units out there, including a couple that you actually tested in this vid, which do perform quite competitively, when the variables are not involved. For instance, the Avid Power unit that failed this particular test, is actually a very reliable device with an accurate metering system. The variable in this case is likely a manufacturing defect, which could very easily exist with any of the higher priced units as well. I would vote for a rematch. :)

So you save money by buying the battery booster that will start your car charge your cell phones and you can connect one of the cheaper tire pumps that goes off the auxiliary charge port.

I've found with these compressors the gauges usually aren't that accurate if you check with a good guage I'm sure you will all find in most cases they're off by a few pounds. I have a HF Pittsburgh pump with battery clamps for about 100 bucks and it inflates faster than anything I've ever had for the cost and has lasted longer than any of the previous ones that I've had with similar costs or more expensive 12V or cordless.

I definitely recommend the Avid Power from experience. I have two which I use weekly and they have been fast, convenient and the gauges are accurate. Built in pressure gauge and auto-off make these all so much better than using an old style inflator. I top off all 4 tires in a couple minutes and don't have to wait around to shut it off or check the gauge multiple times. Press the button, walk away and come back when it turns off.

      @@ProjectFarm your welcome.
Have you ever compared chainsaw chains? Including the Carbide chains?

I hold your reviews in the highest regard, I’ve learned how to properly choose motor oils specifically due to my passion for vehicle maintenance, and now this review on battery powered inflators has sold me on the DeWalt brand which I was hoping would be the case because I have many DeWalt 20v max tools so continued thanks to this channel… gotta ask, what do you do with all these products being tested when done? eBay I presume??
