I've listened to this particular collection of " let's say episodes " -plays so many times, it seems i was standing in the room with the other actors holding my own copy of the script.....
Yes l was about to say the same thing. One only has to see here are hundreds of police behaving in a vile manner towards women. I remember a gentler more honest police force in the 40s and 50s.
If you like Paul Temple you'll love this. Same ingredients , same cliche characters , same wooden dialogue . Definitely falls into the category ; So bad , It's good .! West is more macho than Temple..
Thanks...I must admit...I thought my mind had wondered off and I missed a couple of salient points...all good...stories in those days used to get wrapped up nicely in the end and best of all my mind was present and correct 😂😂

there are another 3 lost episodes so hopefully one day some may resurface
Love it. Thank you for sharing.
Really enjoyed listening to this this afternoon.a great story, well acted. Thank you for uploading it.
I’m glad and you’re very welcome
Thank you.
A gemme, thank You!!!
Imagine an ordinary victim/individual speaking to a copper or threatening them in this way today? Haven’t things changed!
And the utter superiority of the character West. Women as usual were confined to baking and taking care of the children. O thing much changed here!
Brilliant
Timeless entertainment. Quality in every aspect. It takes me to England. Thank you!
You're very welcome
I'm afraid the England of Insp West is no more !!

@@elaineedgar2913 yes when we were afraid of getting a clip around the ear from the local bobby,Dixon of Dock Green springs to mind

Could it be call traditional?
Nothing like Paul Temple : no night clubs, no cocktails - but diverse characters and solid stories .
All Episodes Of The Battle For Inspector West All In One 😊
1:51:55 part five is missing
@@marcauss yeah I noticed that but no longer uploading on here sorry I’ve moved to odysee
Sure the lead isn't Sir Roger Moore??? Uncanny!
Definitely Patrick Allen
Not complete--episode 5 appears to be missing.
I know and no longer uploading here until later in the year
@@audiodramas5192 No worries, it's good as is--just a little jarring :)
Crumbs! 😮
I thought it had been edited out because of the dogs being killed. TH-camrs get upset if dogs die - people not so much🙄

Patrick Allen’s voice acting is so dreadful it’s utterly compelling. Each line is a delivered like an X-Factor voiceover. Hilarious!
Love Sarah Lawson taking other (minor) roles.
I remember Patrick Allan in tv’s Crane. His screen acting was no better than this

😂
Jumped from part 4 to part 6{
Or is it me?
I re uploaded it with all parts on the channel
@@audiodramas5192thank you.
These are good stories, but cops are so inept all throughout. They are like a bunch of bozos.
If they were perfect there would be no story
