Lovely to see and hear about Jordan and especially Mutah and the famous battle. As one of my interest is also Islamic history so I'd write a bit which I hope would also benefit other fans of Mr. Abrar and his VLogs. Bosra in Jordan (not Busra in Iraq) was one of the northernmost stop of regular trading routes of Quresh of Mecca. Abu Sufian, who only embraced Islam just before the conquest of Mecca by Prophet, regularly traveled here with his trading caravans. This was the main source of income of Arabs. The Surat Al-Quresh from 30th Chapter of Quran refers to this place. Different tribal christian rulers/ leaders were heads of these places and they had close ties with the furthest stretches of the Roman empire, which controlled Jerusalem. Roman Emperor Heraclius was visiting Jerusalem when he received a letter from Prophet Mohammad inviting him to embrace Islam as a final religion after Christianity. (I can't recall exactly) but this was shortly before the battle of Mutah, which was due to a Muslim ambassador being killed by the Christian leader of this area. Maltreatment of ambassadors was a big no no throughout history which is why Prophet sent a small army of 3,000 men and he chose 3 Commanders, so that if one got martyred who'd next hold the flag and lead. The 1st Zaid bin Haritha was his adopted son from a young age who had been sold as a slave boy, bought for his wife Hazrat Khadija by her Nephew HAKIM. The boy was about 10 yrs old and was then gifted to Prophet by her. These events are taking place many yrs before any declaration of Islam by Prophet, which he did at the age of 40 yrs. Zayed grew up like his son in the household and was never ever treated like a servant or a slave. His father and uncle used to feel very sad at losing their son and kept searching for nearly a decade till they found that Zayed was in Mecca and served a man called Mohammad, Grandson of Abdul Muttalib. They reached Mecca and requested Prophet to return their son back. They also had to pay the money, they had some but not the full amount. Now see Prophet's wisdom and vision for freedom of humanity and justice in those days when slavery was rampant. He suggested that he wouldn't take a penny but why not let the young man decide who he wished to spend his life with. When he asked Zayed (who is now about 20 yrs old) if he recognized the 2 men, the reply was clear, "Yes this is my father and the other my uncle. Prophet told him that they had come to take him back to the family. According to the custom in those days, Zayed wasn't exactly a free person to choose his life. He first asked Prophet what he had told those men and when he was told that the decision was left to him Zayed then said that if the wealth of the whole world was put to him he wouldn't ever leave Mohammad and his house. Prophet again very wisely tried to comfort the 2 men and in Kaaba, announced to the whole public that from that day the boy's name won't be Zayed bin Haritha but Zayed Bin Mohammad along with all the entitlements like a real son and will be treated like a real son. The 2 men left back to their far off province with some comfort. This change of fatherhood was not fully acceptable to Allah and on his command the name was changed back but the comfort, treatment and the love was impeccable and exemplary. Allah didn't put any objection to adoption but changing the biological fatherhood was not permitted. Some younger Sahaba (Contemporaries) e.g. son of Hazrat Umar, only found out after his martyrdom that he wasn't a real son. He is the only, ONLY Sahabi who is mentioned by name in Quran, even Greats like Hazrat Abu Bakar or Umar are mentioned with references but not with their names. That was his status. When Prophet passed away, imagine his favourite wife Hazrat Ayesha said that had Zayed been alive today then he'd have been the next Caliph (leader) and not Abu Bakar, imagine this is the daughter of Abu Bakar saying this.
Now to battle of Mutah which took place in 629 AD.: Prophet gave the flags to 3 commanders, one after the other. if one was martyred then who'd succeed next. The small Muslim army of 3,000 would've tackled the killer of their Ambassador easily. Unfortunately he and a few other neighboring Christian leaders quickly called Romans for help and by the time of the start of the battle over 100,000 Roman soldiers had lined up to fight. Muslim army very concerned whether to seek reinforcements, go ahead fight or retreat. They were brave warriors, not at all scared of dying, committed that Allah and his prophet is with them so they went ahead and fought. Back in Medina, from his mosque, angel Gabriel was showing the whole battle live to the prophet and he was describing the battle to his Sahaba. He became tearful and sad when his son died and with the fate of subsequent commanders. After Zayed the flag was carried by Prophet's cousin Jaffer bin Abu Talib, one after another both arms were lost, yet he still held on to the flag fighting deep into the Roman army and after Jaffer was martyred, his favourite poet Sahabi, Abdullah Bin Rawaha took command and he was also martyred. Earlier when prophet had sent the army he had declared that after these 3 commanders Muslim army can chose their own best leader. This is when he appeared pleased and said now the command of Muslim army has been taken over by the "Sword Of Allah". No doubt he is one of the greatest warrior in the history of mankind. Now enters Khalid Bin Waleed who had just embraced Islam I think only about a month before and accompanied the army as a common soldier. He was reluctant but the soldiers around him started insisting that he should as he was the best man left for them. HE quickly retreated some of his army and sent a battalion of horsemen far behind with immediate instructions to run horses very fast from side to side to kick up a lot of dust and sand, he then took another group and penetrated deep straight into the heart of the Roman army. This completely baffled the organised Roman army. From the huge dust in the background they half believed that reinforcements were coming. Further convinced as the way Muslim battalion penetrated their inner. The soldiers who had quietly retreated to raise dust clouds would later rejoin their army quite openly. It was also getting dark, Khalid then cleverly kept retreating the whole army safely all the way to Medina. A total of only 12 soldiers lost their lives, including the 3 Commanders. Romans didn't attack soon enough as they were reluctant to chase the Muslim army right into the desert.
Upon arrival in Medina there was a mixed public response. People taunted at them, called them cowards, some soldiers avoided coming to the mosque for a prayer. Prophet was quite upset about this reaction and told everyone in very clear and straight words that this was a very wise and a sensible step and no one should ever criticize the army. His cousin, Jaffer's young children used to cry and miss their father, Prophet went to their house and comforted them and told them that Allah has given him 2 beautiful wings in Heaven so that he can fly freely from one end of "Jannat" to another as often as he pleased. He also promised to be a father figure to the children. When Jaffer's body was recovered he had about 80 wounds to the front of the body and not a single one around the back. Well, after all, he was the real brother of Hazrat Ali. It is even written in Byzantine literature by one historian in Latin that they had the entire Muslim army completely cornered and would've finished them off " We killed the son of their false Prophet, but one young soldier whom they called 'Sword of God' managed to cleverly save them and escaped!
Soon after the conquest of Mecca, Prophet amassed an army of 30.000 soldiers and marched all the way North to "TABOUQ", the northwest tip of S. Arabia. Current new countries like Jordan, Palestine & Lebanon didn't exist as they were all part of Syria. The Roman army + the tribal christian armies adjoining these areas totaled nearly 200,000. BUT emperor Heraclius was a very wise man and he had been quite impressed by the Prophet previously when he had PREVIOUSLY received his letter inviting him to accept Islam as a true and a final religion following Christianity. By accepting this he could have kept his empire and continued to rule. He had then made many inquiries about this new religion, including from no other than "Abu Sufian" himself and Emperor was quite impressed. It is said that he quite believed this to be a true prophet of God and knew that he would never fight or win a battle against a Prophet. He actually retreated his army and no battle took place. Prophet waited for 22 days and then returned back to Medina. Their main battle was not against the Romans but the different christian tribal leaders. This bold step sent shock waves amongst them. They started acknowledging the strength of this new uprising religion so they exchanged peace treaties with the Muslims and some even embraced Islam.
So this was my contribution story to this beautiful part of Islamic history and I hope people enjoyed reading and knowing about the place more. Please forgive me if any trivial errors occurred as religious history and stories are always a sensitive matter. I've tried to write as truthfully as possible and keeping opinions separate from facts. To you Abrar Sahib, doubt if someone would've written such along note on your posts. I hope you'd read it fully and also enjoy it like many others. Thank you.

Just to remind everyone, Hazrat Jaffar bin Abi Talib is also known by the name Jaffar Tayaar, the Sahabi who was amongst the first group of Muslims who migrated to 'Habsha' (today's Ethiopia) and delivered the message of Prophet Muhammad SAW to the king 'Nijashi'.
May ALLAH SWT raise their ranks in Jannah.

This coffee you keep chasing is called parakoia from Peru. Very famous tasty Latin coffee. In Latin islands when you are sitting down the waiter will pull up a small cup with strong parokia coffee and as soon as you nod your head the hot sugar milk is poured and coffee is complete

Watching each of your episodes, i feel i am accompanying you on second seat of your bike and enjoying the towns enroute. You are ambassador of Pakistan, and you should have a Pakistani flag waving on bike.

If he is representing Pakistan in Official capacity or govt has sponsored them then he should! But why now he should put a flag?

@@fatimasadiq5405 Madam, you are right, but a small flag on his bike, or arm or chest would have been helpful in recognizing him in first appearance, nothing else.
