Love your videos! As a college student and aspiring ER doc, emergency medicine seems very rewarding but I’m worried of exhaustion and burnout/becoming a slave to it. Would you say it gets more manageable after residency? Looking for some clarity. Thanks.

I work the night shift from 10pm to 6am. Best shift for me at the moment. I get all day to run errands and go on walks.

I also like the 3p-11p shift! I love having my mornings to run and do housework and read. But my marriage does not like them. 🙈
I love getting the house cleaned before leaving for work! It does suck in terms of social life and family life though!
