00:40 - Opening that lovely case full of lenses reminded me of James Bond being shown a new bit of kit by the gadget-expert 'Q'. "Pay attention, now, 007..." 😁
Wonderful macro images as always, Thomas. Thank you.

As a kid I used to get pond water and look through my Dad's microscope, hoping to see one. Never did find one, but it was a fascinating world.
    Thanks for showing it !

When you get the pattern of the wings from the butterflies, and other patterns from other creatures, it would be interesting to print that on wallpapers to have it covering the walls.
    Beautiful work as always! 💖

Thomas, you are bringing the wonders of nature to the world with an artist's eye.
Dreaming of those lovely colors, and also enjoyed the rain in the background. Your detailed tutorials are helpful to anyone.

Thanks Thomas, the Tardigrades are so special, never thought that you'd see them but you made a silent movie with them.
    Best regards from Switzerland!
    Regards, Robert

Great way to take a break while packing for BugShot! Perfect depth of field on the tardigrade at 20x, and the soft gorgeous lighting. . . I am convinced, you are a wizard.

What a thoroughly interesting video! We have such beauty hidden within the macro world, it sometimes pains me to think that so many people don't get to see it. They would have much more of an appreciation for the intricacy of nature if they saw this, I'm sure! I feel very honoured and excited everytime I see this special world so close up. It's crazy to think that beings like water bears are crawling around with their tiniest of feet, while we just walk by oblivious. Amazing work their Thomas, as always. Much love ✌🏻

Experiencing nature in that way is one of the best experiences to have in photography.

Thomas, what an amazing video with both macro photography and videography weighting this time. Incredible encounter with water bear, and as you said such a tiny universe is just beside us too tiny for us to see and explore. Looking forward to your macro videos.

How exciting to get a water bear in sight! For me, it would be more exciting than photographing a full sized mammalian bear . . . everyone does that.

My MP-E has been serving me faithfully since 2008, still on my original Canon 40D. At times it shows its age, but the Topaz Denoising software has given in a little extra life. These are certainly promising though, so I might have to start saving my pennies.

Inspiring video! Recently bought the set and will likely also start a hunt in fall/winter :) I have read about the nisi rail and was put off by reports of "extreme" wobble in their threaded rod. I may have to reconsider, as it seems manageable, at least around 20x

What a great video! I've wondered about this lens set and clearly it appears to be something worth investigating. Of course I suppose I'd have to up my stacking game as well. Thanks!

I also got the Aurogon but the the life of me have not managed to get a decent stack even with a motorised stackshot rail! I think when I'm using flash I'm getting light reflected back into the objective making everything soft. I must try it again with some better diffusion, would love to capture a still image of a waterbear!
