I started watching nick when I got older
No shame in that. As a Cartoon Network fan, I also love Nickelodeon as well. I also love Disney Channel.
Nick golden's age was 1984-2005 after that they stopped giving shit about everything SpongeBob really ruined them. The only good things that were happening during this time and after were Drake and Josh, Avatar, iCarly, Victorious, The Penguins of Madagascar, TMNT 2012 and Glitch Techs.
I'm the reverse. I'm an 80s kid, sorry, but that was when the animation renaissance was in its early stages, late 80s. I grew up with Nickelodeon, we never had CN until '99 (my cable company was kinda rude that way). Eventually, I outgrew Nick (I stayed for Ren + Stimpy, Rocko and All That), and moved to Cartoon Network, which had some funny adult-friendly promos at the time and shows like Toon Heads and The Bob Clampett Show. That was when it was about cartoons, not children's programming like today. I left mid 2000s. No idea what I can watch anymore.
Ah man, I wish it was 1999-2000 again. Good times, apart from school.

Even when I would see this commercial as a kid when it was originally on, my favorite part was always the cop with the Eds, and how it says, "I love you guys!" When you're a kid, for adults to enjoy your cartoon shows was actually kind of a big deal.

I remember this commercial about cartoon cartoons! And ever since they started cartoon cartoon Fridays they also named it CCF! CCF is my initial name for Colleen Conchetta Foley! But to me it felt like God was giving me a sign that I was going to be the new cartoonist in the future! So I've been drawing cartoon characters and have been practicing for a long time! And then I decided to make my own comic strip about the cartoon characters that we've seen on TV that I call Cartoon Kingdom! But not only with the Cartoon Network characters but also Disney and Nickelodeon too! Until one day I decided to make my own original cartoons that I thought someone would love one day! I'm glad that I became a cartoonist, but since my lifelong dream is to make these cartoons come to life on TV one day I'm only halfway there! Ever since I was little I couldn't resist art, but sometimes I was a little shy to show my work to anybody, but unfortunately that's in the past! I don't know if someday everyone's going to love my original cartoons, the problem is I can't afford to have my own cartoon studio or equipment to go with or even cast or crew or any people who might work for me! But it doesn't mean I'm going to give up on my dreams, my Aunt told me that I should keep my hopes alive! Good thing that hope is one of my favorite qualities!🖍️🖌️🎨😉

I don’t think I’ve seen that ad since it originally aired. Cartoon Network had such great commercials, they kind of took the ball in that regard from Nickelodeon and MTV.
