    Thank you so much for this. I really needed to hear this today.
    I'm on a journey to quit smoking and damaging my body and it seems that my emotions are going completely out of control. I'm generally a happy, upbeat kind of person but every other day now, I've noticed that depression is a big part of my journey and I don't know how to deal with it because I've never allowed myself to feel that. I have forced myself to be happy regardless of how I really felt. Listening to this made me realize that it's okay to not be okay.

    Many thanks Todd, it is almost a year that I started to follow your posts and videos. They are helping a lot to improve my life, through meditation, to health my trauma from childhood which gives me patterns of depression, anxiety and fear, but after one a year and a half, I am saying the changes and positives of constant meditation, combined with psychological consultation, but I note that meditation is given to me a new form of how to approach the day to day troubles and so I am doing in a more relaxed manner. Thanks a lot from my heart.

    🙏🌺life has been a series of painful tests and took me to the Depths of the Inner World and the experience of Oneness and i thought the tests were over now and i could now live in the perception that "Love is the Essence of all Creation"...
    but an external circumstance brought back my old mental state of fear, anxiety, uncertainty, panic and extreme tension and anger at not knowing how to solve the problem and come out of this painful state ...i am facing the most painful test : facing the monster still hidden inside the mind (that has created more painful facts in my external reality) ...this is the Kurukshetra battle (from Mahabharata) going on within, the battle between mind and SOUL, separation and ONENESS, pain and LOVE ...
    extremely painful to face what the old mental state has created in my external life ... the monster was still hidden inside the mind and has to be uprooted now to make space only for ONENESS and UNCONDITIONAL DIVINE LOVE ...🙏🌺

    I have a crutch right now because i am in a state of anxiety everyday because my husband has a sound sensitivity to loud sounds and i live on a corner in a city of inconsiderate people that drive by our house with bass so loud it shakes our house. He goes out side and gets lic plates. He was told by police to do so. I get so anxious about it. we are planning on moving but a-lot of loose ends before we can. some times i just want to run away from everything. I sometimes have a difficult time meditating but I try in the morning when it’s quiet. I enjoy watching and listening to your videos. Thank you .

      Hope you get some relief! Just wondering if you/he have tried practical things in mean time, like wearing ear plugs when needing quiet, sound proofing house better etc. Trying to catch every loud driver I dont think is the answer and will just cause more stress. Somehow ppl get used to living near train stations, airports etc so Id suggest looking into sound desensitizing, perhaps like a form of OCD treatment, exposure and response prevention, cognitive behavioral therapy etc. Good luck!

      it’s not what happens to us, it’s how we choose to respond to it all‼️. also that things actually doNOT happen TO us, but rather FOR us‼️. every “challenge” offers up a viable, relevant and freeing opportunity for us to chose Love as we move thru them so we can grrrrow‼️‼️🥰🥰.. seeing setbacks as stepping stones or bridges to hop across on into a more promised land😃😃‼️… more pearls by Perel‼️‼️‼️
