What would be considered the king of brawling now? Probably Schlieffy? I'd toss Massachusetts in for its great secondaries but it is T8. That would be a great topic Potato.....best brawlers, best snipers and if there is another category for battlewagons to fit in....that.
100% this has been my experience thus far. GK has that turtleback which allows for escorting the air ship without worry about showing side, hydro for torps, secondaries for DDs and Cruisers, and the main guns are punchy.
Nice match! Id recommend to also try out the 406 guns. The faster reload helps alot in brawling and you also catch more people broadsiding and before going behind an island or smoking up.
I've had so much fun doing Airship Escort lately that I haven't played Random Battle mode in anything high tier. My Schlieffen does pretty well if I am able to get in close and engage and disengage between islands, etc. I've had a few good games on the west flank of the "Shitter" map as well. Usually surprising a DD or something. I need to play my GK more than I do.
i just finished an escort match with my pommern and i am glad i had the chance to reinstall the game , it was a blast imagine you are pushin and killin a full health petro with pommern , ıhhhhh i love it also pq's lock on advise is golden it really works even on a german bb
Yeah I had this thought yesterday on this map with my Massachusetts. Then I ran smack into a DD that was trying to flank us. It was a very short game for me.
In random battles, I use the smaller gun caliber to get a faster reload and sling HE early then move in with secondaries later. Seems to be a good method in randoms anyway.
Thanks to your videos on the lock on fix, I'm playing and enjoying the game again.. The videos came 2 days after I had given up on the game. Still get a ton of bad players, but I'm right on top of the table every losing game lol
It's funny that he sailed in circles for 10 minutes and had so much battle impact. Good players' ability to read positioning is a huge advantage. The Monty had to be pissed. Yea, it's a GK with a turtle fetish but still, the Monty's well-aimed salvos were quite disappointing. RNG is a bitch sometimes. So say well all.
Hi @Potato Quality, this might be a strange question, but do you think you could go over your graphics settings? I'm playing on an i9-12900H and a 3070Ti, but seem to be only able to get ~80 FPS in game. For some reason, it doesn't really matter what graphics setting I change it to, even on high/medium/low graphics I seem to get around 80 FPS. I noticed this change in conjunction with a strange camera change that my cat apparently made by stepping on my keyboard (best way I could describe the change would be that it feels like I'm constantly in freelook, as my camera can now look much higher (and lower) into the sky than it could before) but my guns and reticles are still functioning properly. Sort of at a loss here... everything feels a bit more sluggish and stuttery in general. Definitely not the most fun experience. Thanks in advance!
Idk if it's placebo but I've been getting the aiming bug where my shells either land just short of just past the enemy and I tried that tip of unlocking and locking the target but there's no difference. It's so annoying especially on salem because the shell flight time is so long and adjusting my aim literally just goes too far or too short completely missing the target
This mode lets GK remind people why it was the King of Brawling

I played GK more in this mode and with your tips on aiming the fun factor increased a ton! Thnx PQ!
Really fun to watch this upload, thanks. I will try the lock-on toggle more often.
Me sees a broadside cv in a bb
My brain: *goes ape mode* oooh oooh oooh ooh
I love playing airship escort in my Yamato and popping around islands to terrorize enemy battleships with a broadside of 18 inch guns into their face.
Ive been playing either it or my Preussen and I consistently make 1m+ each match with blue boosters. Quite enjoyable mode with those ships.
Nice match!

Ew, go big or go home
But Yamato gun sound...

Good vid. Thank you. I was hoping you would show some footage of that Triple Jinan game.
I can hear TFS Electra screaming in the distance

lesgooo another video another ship! awesome! and... where is the giuseppe verdi on airship? :D
Been running GK in it and having a blast. Average is 2 mill potential and many 150k+ damage games

This mode is such a good one for almost all ships, especially for the brawlers. We can't really enjoy them in randoms
Did this a few times in my Shima with mixed Luck it got me thinking, mmm i wonder how the old GK would go 🤷♂
Turns out it was a absolute weapon.

04:05 on console, still lasts 90 seconds. Even the plane torps, very fun

It is like we do the "Throw enough crap at the wall and eventually it will stick" with those floaty shell
ngl i love this mode even in my yamato
having to manage my angles and time my pushes accordingly is so much fun
Thanks for the video!
Actually I used to run this build before captain skills rework and I remember it being particularly good in ranked due to lower engagement ranges.
Ah it's a blast from the past.
Love the video title!
So the GB is worth the coal to buy?
I too love secondary builds.
Please tell me which mods do you use so I can install them. Thanks.
I will say that mode is good for secondary builds. at least the ships that can make the most use of them.
I don't know if anybody commented that already, but is the title a hellsing abridged reference?
fellas, is there a way to switch main battery lock-on target without un-zooming and panning away and re-acquiring the different target
x key. also it can be bound to another key in options. pq recommended space bar & it works well.
@@zumum6331 thank you sir
A vid on Salem in Airship Escort???
Make this a permanent game mode, WeeGee. It is literally far superior to anything else.
The most i have ever dealt in a single salvo with no citadel while being in aKurfurst myself on Kurfurst was 33k at 17 km
It was an ungodly dispersion
Any other ship would get devstruck or down to extremely low hp
@@anubhavdassarma7230 The turtleback is certainly a blessing
Tell us you're a battleship simp without telling us you're a battleship simp
Can't wait for the game mode to leave
👏👏👏
Hopefully, this mode stays forever. It's enjoyable to play more than randoms.
This is WG they serve disappointment here sir , it’s going to random battles
