One of my favorite lines from their Twilight Princess episode, when they're underwater:
"Hey, look Arin! It's your arch-nemesis The Clam!"

He actually talked about that in one of his videos once. Apparently he really favors an aggressive playstyle, and doesn't like shielding or blocking mechanics on the whole, so he tends to just forget about them and opt for dodges or interrupting attacks. It's probably why he liked Wind Waker so much too, as it introduced the parry attack as an alternative to blocking.

@@ScrambledAndBenedictHonestly a valid complaint about OoT/MM. As he says earlier in the series, *so many* of the enemies in those games are like that. And I think it's because Nintendo didn't really know how to do 3D combat all that well yet. One or two enemies being a "shield until you get an opening" type enemy isn't a problem, but when it's like, half the enemies who do that, it gets a bit annoying- especially when that's not your preferred play style.

@@capndikkens5790 It's somewhat valid. What Arin forgets is Zelda is a game about using your arsenal of items. It's true that a lot of enemies have a "shield until an opening" pattern, but you can break that pattern by using items. Deku nuts, hookshot, and boomerang can stun, arrows and bombs can harm. Enemies like the Flare Dancer even exist to demonstrate this: the first battle you have to fight it legit, the second time you can cheese it with the Megaton Hammer. Arin essentially goes for a sword-only run, and typically only button-mashes, so of course every enemy gives him a ton more grief than it should: it would be like only using your handgun in Resident Evil and finding it to be too hard because there wasn't enough ammo and enemies took too many hits to kill. Heck, most of the clams in this video he could have just walked around or swam over without fighting at all.

I still laugh cause he could dive with an empty bottle as kid link while wearing the stone mask and it would've been way simpler. GG arin
