love how Toby referenced beau miles. can also recommend his videos especially if you're low on motivation, ultimate story teller. one thing for me as a 35 year old climber who has never done parkour is that Storror has made their audience feel, through these personal moments in the videos, that you know the guys personally. This leads to people and aspiring practitioners being able to approach them in the street without feeling nervous or embarrassed and this leads onto more following and a greater connection between them and the people they inspire. massive props to everyone making this invaluable library of info for the future generations.
Yeah Toby is a legend and someone who's always willing to learn from anyone who he thinks can bring him value, not just within the parkour community. I'll have to go check out beau miles myself, sounds like he's an incredible storyteller. Thanks for the support man! Yeah I hope this video series can be a useful resource for passionate parkour athletes and filmmakers' for years to come 🤞😅
I definitely would love to make a proper long form video at some point. Being so new to the sport, I am still working on finding the right people I can trust to help bring the vision to life. My end of the year 2021 video is the most technical 5 minute video I have done so far. Not much of a story, but really nice camera movement and nonstop lines.
I’m laughing so hard that you put the stacks clip in. Toby said ‘get off your phone, we didn’t have that, it let us focus’ and I thought ‘while I get what you mean and understand you are referencing social media, all I can think of is that stacking game you all were obsessed with that definitely made it into the film’ And then you cut to the stacks clip! Hilarious!
Love this video series man!!! Been waiting for an oportunity to hear these legendary Parkour personalities talk about these projects ever since they were released 🤩 I always thought I would just travel to europe and ask them myself hahaha but its great to see you have done this work for me. Ever since I watched RCA back in 2017 I was obsessed. I even wrote a whole 4000 word essay on RCA in highschool analyzing the whole film hahaha Since then, I made it a goal of mine to make a Parkour film some day, and that goal is still there. I worked as a freelance filmmaker for a couple years to get my skills up and since the pandemic hit I quit freelancing and decided to start my parkour carreer properly. Now I am a PK gym owner at 21 y/o and this year I am starting to work on my social media to finally start getting closer to making a feature film in the next couple years. Thank you so much for the content you are posting, just subscribed. Cheers to you Maximus and lets keep this culture growing!!!
That's an incredible story bro, keep hustling with it, I hope your gym is going well! I actually work as a freelance filmmaker at the moment and also have plans for a feature length Parkour film this year! I also studied film and know about those long ass essays, that's so sick that you analyzed RCA. I hope you can make your project a reality man, I'd love to see it! 🙏💜👊
I'm loving this video series! Making a feature length parkour film is definitely a big goal of mine, but right now I'm just trying to get better at all aspects of filmmaking (cinematography, editing, storytelling, etc.)
this is really sick, love hearing about the process about storror. would love if you put full interview uncut after you are done makin these specific vids
This is amazing!!! I've got one tip tho, and this is really minor cause the rest is absolute great. The storror gif thing loops to fast I think... its kinda distracting
Yeah I gotta agree you there, I think the whole animated logos were a bit over the top but I was worried people would lose interest 😂🤷♂️. But glad you enjoyed it! My two most recent videos are also from the same series and the final one drops next week 🙏
Always up for checking out what Max has going on. Looking forwards to u back in the game with a fully healed ankle. ( Ur poor mums face was a picture 😮) Laters mate 👍🏻
@@MaximusWard I caught that earlier man, loved it!! U made a good job of putting that together. I watched the first one and enjoyed it, and this jst put the cherry on the top. Always good to see u posting something. Heal up and hopefully see u back doing parkour vids in the near future. Keep on keepin on. 🏴👍🏻
Yeah true. There was one such film made by Ryan Taggart called 'winging it'. They went through MuvMag to release it. It got a fair few sales, but admittedly the community support could have been better.
Just that he's very focused on his career as an influencer and left Motus to focus on it. Full Respect to him though, he's making a living doing something he loves.
Seeing Toby's eyes when Callum talks about almost selling out the cinema is so inspiring. You can see how much he loves it just in that clip alone.
Yeah man imagine being able to do that with a grassroots film like that. It's so impressive 😍

I'm glad I found this video, my team and I have started putting more effort into making enjoyable videos and we've been having fun with the process
Yo that's sick, I hope the video helped you guys! There are also three more similar videos from this series on my channel. 🙏
@@MaximusWard I went down your rabbit hole. We locked in
half a minute in.. the beats, just after you say "storror", "breach" and "motus".. 0:34 perfect! even if probably unintended
Hahaha yeah definitely unintended but I spent ages getting those intro/outros right so I'm glad you appreciated them! 🙏😅
super sick video! really good inspiration
Cheers bro, I hope you gained something valuable!

That's exactly what we're going to do. It will be on the Storror podcast! 😁👌

@@Hometown-Unicorn Will do bro, love for the support as always!
It'd be cool to hear about getting exposure for films lesser known people create

Filming my big project this spring so this was very interesting! 💟
Good luck with it man, I hope this helps! 👊

loved it! So inspiring ❤️
Glad to hear it bro, thanks for watching! 💜
ill be very interested to learn more about the response to enter the breach.
Yeah man it was a strange response to have people hating on the film, we'll get into it next week.
Awesome content.
Thank you bro!
10/10 ❤
what's it about luke stones?
Just that he's very focused on his career as an influencer and left Motus to focus on it. Full Respect to him though, he's making a living doing something he loves.
Brilliant.
