These pocket booklets are totally awesome. The one using the Purple Rain kit is my faviorite. I would have rounded the corners on the closure tab though. It would give it a better finished look !

My husband knows that is he is taking me out that he has to get dressed up. We live near winery that has an outdoor pizza oven and they have music. Or a brewery that also has pizza and music. We also used to go to concerts before covid. My husband also likes farmer's markets. He likes to fish with our oldest son and I craft a little or alot. Glad that you are having a little fun even though things have changed. Much love ❤❤❤
Love these pockets. I think we are from the same era used to spend hours getting ready to go to a club on a Saturday night that was a big part of the evening. If you wore jeans etc you would not be allowed in. Times have changed and not always for the better..very sad...
Good Morning Tina!! I love these pockets, beautiful papers too. I wanted to point out that not all casinos are created equal!! I was a licensed casino dealer 23yrs ago, not for long, but long enough to have discovered, that, most casinos are basically a cross between, going to the bingo and/or a seaside arcade!! You do get the posh ones where you have to be super dressed up, e.g men must wear ties and long sleeves and women a cocktail dress...but the majority, will be more laid back about their dress code, and allow, for example, work clothes, t shirts and flip flops!!, where as another, will have a smart casual dress code!! Both, will have a few people like yourself who are dressed up and smart, not the ties and cocktail dresses, kind of dressed up, but more so than smart casual!! Also the gaming tables are, like the dress codes, not created equal!! By this I mean, each gaming table you go to, will likely, have a different minimum bet, usually anything from 2p to £200+!! It's, better, I was taught, to ask the dealer on your chosen table, before you lay down a bet, what the minimum bet is. I also remember, that they had different promotions on, each night of the week, each one, with it's own set of minimum bets!! I'd assume the point of it, is making casinos accessible for all? You know, and, not just people with millions of pounds in the bank!! I just thought I'd mention it, as you can go see, if your local casino, has a promotion on, for all minimum bets being under a pound, or one where you have to proper dress up!! 23yrs ago, the one I worked in did both!! You might find a night you enjoy more!! I hope you find they do, and that, you can, maybe give it another chance and have a better night out!! Let's face it, after covid and lockdown, not to mention what's been going on behind the scenes, as it were, for you and your sister, you both, REALLY need to have an amazing night out and you, blow away the cobwebs, and start as you mean carry on from here!! I have no patience when it comes to the glue and not using it for a couple of days. I just go ahead and take the top off and clean out the nozzle before I start, lol. Or if it's not too bad, I will insert the pin and kinda scrap the needle around the inside of the nozzle, pulling out any small clumps that it has. ;-)
People don’t have any pride in how they look anymore. We always dressed up when we went anywhere. Here in the states people will go to the store in pajama pants!! Several yrs ago we had to go to my Aunts funeral and her daughter was in a track suit! Absolutely ridiculous! On a happier note I love these easy folders. I’m excited to see your new kits. There is no distinction between day wear and evening. Everything goes! The chef you mentioned is Heston Blumenthal, I met him years ago at the Fat duck, his restaurant. Saw his laboratory as well. He did amazing ice creams, ect. In todays world everything has to stimulate all your senses to be cool! I'm curious person so Il try it .... once. Good or bad it's an interesting experience. Yep! The good old days are gone! And I think we’re probably EVEN more casual here in the US, versus you in Britain. It’s a shame, it used to be so much fun to get dressed up! Oh the Halloween kit looks cool 😎, so many kits so little time lol. Love the time traveller😍 just don't retire any please so I can get them all eventually😂. I worked as a Croupier for a couple of years in my 20's and had to wear a long dress, the men suits and dickies and the punters were mostly dressed up as they usually came in after a night out as we were the only place open until 4am back then lol, but I thoroughly enjoyed it for the time I spent there ...I know exactly what you mean as it did have an air of glamour about it with thick red velvet curtains trimmed with thick brocade and gold tassels and huge chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. That was a time I used to wear a variety of wigs as they were such fun and great when I couldn't be bothered to wash the waist length blonde hair, as that was a chore and a half!
I LOVED last year's Halloween Journal. 🎃 No inking and just kept me on my seat to see what you were going to do next! And I had given you the idea of putting a scull head in a mirror 🪞. I only dress up for Christmas and maybe depending upon the way I feel and the weather on Thanksgiving. And if I am not sleeping on new years and actually get out. LOL I play the nickle slots or quarter one's. And I always have a Diet Coke and ice water. Of course the waitress kinda skipped over me, so I went and got my own. Much ❤ x

I have 3 paper cutters and used loads at work (a school) I’m rubbish with them 🤦🏼♀️ I don’t know how but measurements always mess up, it doesn’t cut cleanly…I’m a scissor person too

O dear lovely Tina! I love to dress up every chance I get!!!! It is so sad that society has changed so much that gym clothing is acceptable in public. If you are going dancing dress up, or a movie. Forgive me, but I can’t but notice you seem to have a lot of glue overflow that you continually have to wipe or dab away, as your glue bottle has a fairly wide tip. I wondered if you might want to try using a bottle of the Art Glitter Dries Clear glue plus its add-on very narrow metal tip? The Ultra fine tip is so narrow that a regular straight pin is too wide for it (I buy those special very thin straight pins, which fit), but it dispenses the glue perfectly, so you can run the glue very close to the edge of your paper but it will not squeeze out from under the edge of the paper (and you end up not wasting glue). The bottle is refillable, so once you have used up the glue, you can substitute a less expensive glue if you wish (I really like the Art Glitter glue, so I refill it with the same Dries Clear glue). Anyway, that’s my thought, for what it’s worth.
Always love the mass makes, especially the chat! Love these pockets! I need a few for a project so I know I will be making some again, I used up my stash! Some of the Casinos in Las Vegas are very very posh and people do still dress up for some of the shows and the restaurants. And the shops are very elegant but pricey. Everything there is expensive these days though but pretty fun! 🌸😊🌸
