This raid was absolute bs. I’m not even gonna dedicate time to this method. Cuz I don’t have the two Pokémon I need I can’t do this raid. Fuck gamefreak this raid is damn near impossible

Something that helped me out when I did raids with others is to use Taunt! Oftentimes, the Blaziken would get shields up so fast that it’d use bulk up, swords dance, and whatever else to completely obliterate the team. By using Taunt first turn, it was locked out of doing that until later, leaving everyone a good chunk of HP! Cresselia also helped a lot, as it had a healing move called “Lunar Blessing”, which healed all of the Miraidons super easily! :}

I had some trouble at first because it kept criting my miraidon and kept killing it before I could Tera, but I beat it on both scarlet and violet and got the blaziken on both versions! This works better than the 3x metal sound build I kept seeing before finding this video! Great work.

I failed this so many times until I found this video I saw so many peoples videos and none of them showed how they beat them they would just talk about the builds and your the only one I found that actually showed everything also I really like your videos there very helpful and I think its really cool that you respond to all your comments mad respect

This absolutely worked. My grandson and I spent about an hour preparing Miraidon and beat it first try. That’s amazing being a 7 star den. Blaziken is his favorite Pokémon. Thank you for the easy tutorial.

Thank you for the guide. Got lucky on my first try: got Arcanine and Tauros for double Intimidate plus Bellibolt for that extra Electric damage.

This guide really helped. I didn’t even have to reset my EVs with my Miraidon, I just equipped a magnet and made its nature Modest instead of Timid, added your moveset, and was able to beat Blaziken. Thanks!

This is a phenomenal guide, I hadn’t even completed a 6⭐️ but this worked perfectly for me! Also for what it’s worth, if you can reroll for an NPC with Arcanine it works great, they can burn and they have intimidate and by the end Blaze is doing next to nothing. Thanks again for the guide!

Ohhhh thank you. I typically use Osirus's guides, but this time he was like "Hey, egg move", which I don't want to deal with. This worked great, even with my 252 Spe. Miraidon. (I got it in a trade and never bothered to switch the Speed to HP)

I discover that Arcanine or some Pokémon can inflict fire is really helpful cause it half the damage that Blaziken dealts, My Miraidon can’t acquires enough level and get one shot a lot of time but Arcanine really help me out

@@GenoBlade2504 Your npc-intimidator dying a lot is actually a good thing, cause then they keep reapplying the attack drop over and over again, and npc deaths don't cause a time loss like player KOs do!

I just saw a really clever strategy while playing this online. Some person used a Malamar with Contrary as the ability and the move Skill Swap, this transfers Contrary to Blaziken so that every time it uses Swords Dance it actually reduces its own Attack!

I did have to end up doing Defense EVs instead of HP since my miraidon was only just barely surviving, though.
Yea tried it twice with Hp EV’s and no dice but when I switched to full defense next game I also got a star raptor and it was over before it began lol

Thanks for this video. I used this strategy because I have a Miraidon already set up and beat Blaziken first try. Another Pokémon you might want to look out for as an ally is Driftblim. I got one as an ally and it kept spamming Will-O-Wisp. Blaziken spent most of the battle with the Burn debuff.

It wouldn't work for me til I got an intimidate ai, but I did reflect, charge, then defense cheer, after those I was able to parabolic charge until tera and parabolic charge spam and finally beat it, thanks for the video! Out of all the ones I've seen and tried, yours helped the most♥️

I did this exact build except i did a 252 Defense EV instead of HP and I did not need reflect or any other defensive ability besides an NPC intimidate. Literally just spam Parabolic charge and make sure to terastallize and it wasn't even close. Thank you!

Worked like a charm! My NPCs showed up with a staraptor, Tauros, and Umbreon. I got x2 intimidate and then Umbreon used thunder wave. I put up reflect and started spamming para charge and it was gg from there haha

Kept losing with Miraidon so I swapped to Rotom Wash instead. Did an online raid with a group of Miraidon and I didn’t have to go Tera.

Everytime I terastilize he right away one shots me with an earthquake. I’m following this exact method except I haven’t done it with an intimidate Pokemon. Does the intimidate really do that much of a difference?
Yes, because without it Blaziken has 3 attack increases. Which makes it do insane damage between 350-450
I am not able to find the raid on the map. Do we need to finish all the content in order to get it? I just finished the game yesterday and bought the DLC. My pokémon’s are somewhere around lvl 80.

You have to do a quest with the biology teacher I think?? the one for the shiny charm

My friend and I won on our 2nd try. They used a slowbro with chilling water, slack off, and ice beam. It comes in handy. I used my Miraidon for healing, setting up reflect, use Thunder, and electro drift. It worked well.

The best build I have seen and used was a Miradon max ev at SP At and Defense then use metal sound 3 times charge once and then electro drift using a life orb as the held item it 1 shots the Blaziken in 5 turns.
Idk if you can survive 4 hits before that
@@ConCon You absolutely can i did it yesterday and today.
Nope that 3x metal sound build doesn’t work, I tried it and could not finish off the blaziken, it kept putting up the shield before I could do the last metal sound, so I couldn’t kill it, let alone get it down to half hp. I still can’t finish off blaziken with this new reflect build but it just keeps getting crits and killing me and it’s so annoying

I reused the Mew from the mewtwo raid, reflect, life dew, rain dance and an attacking move. rain helps when it uses overheat and the rest is easy support.

with how easy this raid is, its a good opportunity to farm money as well by selling star/comet shards and tera shards
The item printer would be a faster way to get items to sell to be honest
@@ConCon item printer is definitely the go to money farm but this is an okay alternative for som people

If you use a defense Miraidon instead of a HP Miraidon like I did (my Miraidon was already EV trained like that) the strategy seems to be more reliable if you don’t cheer and just keep parabolic charging

Yeah its just way more optimal to do this raid solo using Moraidon or Belibolt than to do this online cause often other players will attack too fast before you can get up a Taunt and light screen

That should only happen near the end of the timer. It's just because it gains speed each turn, once it's speed is double yours then it goes twice

I need help, at this point I’m not sure what to do. The icon for the terra raid doesn’t show on my map. I did union circle and it shows for my friend but not for me. I updated everything and I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Doesn’t show still

@@ConCon hi yes! I completed the epilogue to the dlc and I have done the ending with terapagos! I was able to do the Dialga and Palkia raids

It's a shame Mr. Mime isn't in this edition, Trick Room and Reflect would have been a great support set up.
I don't think trick room works in raids though
@@ConCon Trick Room works, the 5 star Dialga from last year had Trick Room in its move pool
I had a Duraludon with eviolite and used metal sound twice, then the Miraidon next to me nearly one shotted it before it could get its shield up. The game froze on the empty Hp bar for 10 seconds and then I caught it lol.

The AI drifblim is amazing here too: will-o-wisp neuters Blaziken's attack stat and I'm assuming it also has aftermath.
Oh that's cool but rare to get though I imagine, I haven't had it at all in my test battles
