It would be amazing if when u sent out Ogerpon the dialogue was: Ogerpon is going all out against it's opponent! GAWD, 1 K LIKES IN 18 HOURS THATS AMAZING
When the loyal three have names that are all puns on things that mean good things, it really feels like a missed opportunity to have kept with the puns for Pecharunt. I nicknamed mine “Juspeachy”.
I guess it's because Pecharunt is supposed to be a secret master of the loyal three. Since no one seemed to know it existed, no one gave it a name similar to the Loyal Three. I really wanted it to be named something like Peachikeen though 😅😂
I’d love to see an animation where Pecharunt treats the other three like a classic, old school cartoon villain after their untimely demise. P: “YOU INCOMPETENT FOOLS! I gave you all everything you desire, and you’re fighting WITH THE ENEMY?!” O: “She’s… stronger than she looks, boss.“ M: “Plus, she had backup.” F: “And besides, I couldn’t let her ruin my good looks!”
The Three probably remembers the moment they got clubbed to death, so yea, it is wise for them to not goes against the raging incarnate of an orge that just had lost her master.
I have a theory as to the full complete story of Ogerpon's tragedy. Basically, the loyal three heard rumors of the masks and came to Kitakami, not to steal and kill, but to ask for masks of their own to boost their confidence. Then, Pecharunt comes along to strengthen and corrupt their minds, giving them what they want to serve loyal to it and warp their original plan from diplomacy to lethal force takeover. Obviously Ogerpon goes to retaliate, killing the peaches minions and foiling its plan, forcing it to go into hiding in a dormant state. Edit: Alright, so... Pokemon released an official story that I wasn't expecting, and had my theory thrown in the trash... ah well, it was a cute story anyway.
What really would have put some coolness into it is if Pecharunt got stat boosts when you used one of these four against it. Especially if say you Tera Ogerpon, Pecharunt’s stats go up one across the board
You know, I think it's fitting that one of the best Pokemon to take on Peacharunt, is Snorlax. It's normal type makes it immune to it's Ghost STAB, and it's Immunity Ability makes it, well, immune to it's Poison Puppeteer Ability.
Bruh, Ogerpon is out for blood. Cant blame her considering the fact that it is up against the pokemon responsible for the loss of its friend many years ago.
@@GumbaIIism Imagine having to fight Pecharunt with his three minions at once. And that Pecharunt could cheat and revive them if one of them faints while he's still alive.
Maybe he developed inmunity to his manipulation, as it actually there is a hint that it was thanks to his toxins that Kieran was cabale of changing but got corrupted like the Loyal 3. Also maybe Kieran wasn't under his control like the village, just had a little influence of his toxins and that's how eventually he could change back. Also Peacharunt wasn't awake so he didn't had his full powers until the epilogue, so that how he is now capable to fully control people and not just influence them to change.
@@hunterstorys9330 yeah that's what I meant. Kieran was never under his control because Peacharunt didn't awake until the epilogue, but he had the influence of his toxins in his body or mind, maybe being near Peacharunt in the store instead of eating his mochi is what happened, as in the epilogue it says that "the plush had a sweet smell", so is plausible that his toxins enter Kieran via smell. Then those toxins is what change Kieran into becoming a stronger trainer but it made him a toxic version of himself like the Loyal Three, and that's how Kieran punching their tomb bring them back to life, as he transfer part of that Peacharunt toxins energy he came in contact into them. I also think that Peacharunt didn't try to control Kieran as he maybe developed an inmunity to his toxins after being under their influence in his mind between the Teal Mask end and the Indigo Disk end. What it seems to me is that Peacharunt grants people and Pokemon's ambitions to "be better" in excahnge for making them the worst versions of themselfs, kinda like being pretty/stronger/wiser in the ouside but rotten/poison in the inside (maybe like the same Peacharunt) as Kieran did accomplish to become strong but in exchange he became a bully to his friends and also risk his health by bearly sleeping.
@@Max1996YT exactly! What I think is that Peacharunt, although it wasn't awake, did pass part of his toxins into Kieran, but he wasn't being manipuled by the pokemon, he was just under the effects of his toxic energy. In the epilogue when we cheack Peacharunt againt it says that "the dusty plushy smells very sweet", so my guess is that Kieran came in contact with Peacharunt toxins bia smell, and thus when he punch the tomb of the Loyal Three part of that toxin energy pass into them, bringing them back to life. But, other parts of Peacharunt toxins remained in his sistem/mind. That's why he became so obssesed into being stronger, and according to Peacharunt Pokedex entry, that what he does. He grants people and pokemon's ambitions but brings out the worsts parts of them, thus making them like him pretty/strong/wise on the outside, but with a rotten/posionous inside. Kieran needed to be defeated to let go of those toxins in his system because it was bringing out the worst parts of him, he even had moments of going back and forth in Area Zero, so it seems that they have to let go of their ambitions to stop the toxins to bring out the worst in them. Also this might explain some actions of Peacharunt in the epilogue. He didn't know what happened at all, so he did try a more direct approach of getting the masks (without knowing they weren't in Kitakami anymore). Instead of influence people with his toxins, he directly tried to control everyone thus making them "dancing zombies". Then we can see he goes to the tomb of the Loyal Three, probably trying to revive them without knowing they have alredy been revived and captured by the protagonist.
Pecharunt (when sending the Lousy Three against him): I turned you into what you are, and THIS is how you repay me!? 😡😡😡 01/15/23 UPDATE: My only friends used against me!? Is this part of my punishment for what happened to Ogerpon! 🥺😭😭😭 Fine! I'm done running away!

Can't wait to see if they make a movie about Ogerpon, the Loyal Three and Pecharunt. It sounds like it'd be great, maybe they can even factor in Kieran and Carmine into the new series somehow too
I love how Nintendo added these little easter eggs to Pokemon that you send out in these battles. The easter egg with Pecharunt and Ogerpon for example.
I did the same thing, and both Pecharunt and Ogerpon were MAD. I'd assume Pecharunt was like: You dare defy me, minions!? You chose the wrong side! And for Ogerpon: This ends now, you poisonous son of a peach!
A neat detail is the Loyal 3 have remnants of the poisonous chains that pecharunt had used to control them and those chains look just like it's signature move.
You actually see it during Kieran and Carmine's Grandfather's story about Ogrepon and the Loyal Three. Its mostly cut off, but its in the upper right corner above Okidogi
My Ogerpon; Skull Kid, got two friendship crits while wearing the Hearthflame mask. She really wanted him dead. That's neat that he reacts to the loyal three coming out against him.
Would we count ultra beasts too? Since Naganadel is a dual Poison/dragon type. Or is ultra beasts their own category separate from mythical and legendaries?
I'm imagining the Loyal Three and Pecharunt being in like a Darth Vader-and-Palpatine kinda relationship... They were corrupted into becoming its begrudging servants, then managed to redeem themselves by helping defeat it.
Evil Momotaro have the guts to get angry cuz you're using his friends against him when he's been doing that himself, makes me want a cursed katana version of aegislash to slay it
I find it cool that this DLC had NPC's have different reactions depending on which Pokémon you had out. With Kieran and Carmine commenting on you using Ogerpon, to Pecharunt acting pissed with the Loyal/Lousy Three. It's small details like this I appreciate the most when it comes to games giving you a short bit of extra uniqueness.
*Ogerpon vs Pecharunt* Pecharunt: again we meet Ogerpon: again and always Pecharunt: again you pay *The Loyal three vs Pecharunt* Pecharunt: NO NO YOU CAN'T BETRAY ME, MY DISCIPLES (a line where Jakob is defeated in DUSK)
Ogerpon: So you're the one behind all this... I'll make you suffer!! Okidogi: Heh, you're even more a whimp than that brat. I'll have fun breaking you. Munkidori: If I let myself be manipulated by someone like you, I guess I'm still as stupid as ever. Fezandipiti: Ugh, what an ugly child! Away with you! Pecharunt: I gave you three what you wanted, and this is how you say thanks? Fine!
Fun Fact: The catch is guaranteed regardless what ball you use, I caught it in a dusk ball because I wanted to save my master balls and (to my surprise) it worked.
I threw a sport ball because I figured most people probably won’t, haha. I also didn’t want to use the 3 I have on random encounters and have them fail. I know I can get more but I’d rather not have to!

I love how Pecharunt basically has a ramped-up battle cry against Ogerpon like, "You!" "You!" sort of thing between them. But Pecharunt is straight up pissed to see its retainers turned against it.
It took me a bit of time but i realized why pecharunt is considered a poison type and the villain. In the legend momotaru was born from a peach pit. Peach pits contain arsenic.
Okidogi: WE WILL AVENGE OGERPON'S MASTER!!! Fezandipiti: WE WILL REDEEM OUR SELF! Munkidori: WE ALL NOW ON OGERPON'S SIDE! Ogerpon to Pecharunt: YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FOR ME! Pecharunt: Loyal three, YOU BETRAYED ME!!!!!
All legendaries where you're forced to catch it have a 100% catch rate. Ogerpon, Terapagos, etc... A Master Ball fits it color-wise though, so I also used one.
I think that's the case for any "boss battle" pokemon. Makes me sad we didn't get that for the new paradox legendaries too. I wanted Iron Crown in a beast ball...
I also thought of using a Master Ball but, since it has 100% chance to be caught and cuz Kieran said "catch it in a Poke Ball", I decided to take that too literally and caught it in a Poke Ball. 😆
I'm appreciating Ogerpon's continued role in the story even if small. Too many legendary Pokémon are completely forgotten the second you catch them.

Facts. Would’ve loved to see Ogerpon get an Ultra Necrozma-like omniboost against Pecharunt
I named mine "PeachyKing" ("peachy keen" and it is the big boss of the Loyal Three)
i tried to name mine dokutaro bc that’s what it was called before we found out it’s name but it didn’t let me so it’s name is just taro
@@checkurclosetSame, I just tried that wtf Gamefreak 😂
Mine is Peachyking
I’d love to see an animation where Pecharunt treats the other three like a classic, old school cartoon villain after their untimely demise.
P: “YOU INCOMPETENT FOOLS! I gave you all everything you desire, and you’re fighting WITH THE ENEMY?!”
O: “She’s… stronger than she looks, boss.“
M: “Plus, she had backup.”
F: “And besides, I couldn’t let her ruin my good looks!”
Then they are resurrected and caught by the player. They go in their redemption arc. They help Ogrepon take revenge.
That's an interesting storyline
@@9Tailsfan Technically they're resurrected by Kieran.
Kieran is Ho-oh confirmed
I like to think Ogerpon killed Pecharunt in the past like the loyal 3. That's why it's a ghost type.
Oni babbu is out for evil peach blood
And considering Pecharunt is the one responsible for creating all of Ogrepon's troubles, its not unwarranted
What really would have put some coolness into it is if Pecharunt got stat boosts when you used one of these four against it. Especially if say you Tera Ogerpon, Pecharunt’s stats go up one across the board
I think it would have been more fitting if Ogerpon got a stat boost, like she’s so pissed off at this thing that she’s putting in her all against it
“Memories of the past fuel Ogerpon’s strength! Her stats rose!” I’d love that.
0:38 Ogerpon: (You and I have unfinished business!)
Now square up, cause I'm hitting a home run!
Pecharunt: I have no idea what you're talking about, but I'm pretty sure it's a bad thing
You know, I think it's fitting that one of the best Pokemon to take on Peacharunt, is Snorlax. It's normal type makes it immune to it's Ghost STAB, and it's Immunity Ability makes it, well, immune to it's Poison Puppeteer Ability.
Big Man eats Pecha Berries religiously
I fought it with an iron plate holding arceus, immune to all poison moves
I fought it with Kingambit
Ogerpon: “Ready for round 2, you little bastard?”
Pecharunt: “oh no”
Bruh, Ogerpon is out for blood. Cant blame her considering the fact that it is up against the pokemon responsible for the loss of its friend many years ago.
Ogrepond : IT'S YOU! I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!!!!

Nice to see that there is something that happens when you send Ogerpon out.
“You dare use my own spells against me, Potter?”
All the theories saying Kieran was going to be possessed by this thing and yet he was the only person besides you that wasn't under its control lmao
@@fernandocuauhshihuacarbaja3094with everyone having his eyes on other color because of that thing. I don't think Kieran was ever under his control
@@hunterstorys9330 So how did Kieran's punch revive the Loyal Three, like those cutscenes implied?
I am just glad this epilogue gave Kieran the most time that he lacked in the teal mask and indigo disk
Pecharunt (when sending the Lousy Three against him): I turned you into what you are, and THIS is how you repay me!? 😡😡😡
