The little kite girl is a piece done by an artist in McMinnville Oregon. probably 10-15 yrs ago she was quite popular in a gallery down there. I found one in the bins here in Portland and really treasure it.

My granddaughter's live 1500 miles away from me and I live alone in a rural area. I just found this channel and I am so excited that tears are running down my eyes also! I have very little income and I get very excited to go to a thrift shop, as I no longer drive, and it get myself a present! I only wish I had company that also enjoyed looking for treasures! Tiffany, Keeneland is a beautiful racetrack in Lexington, Kentucky. They have two live meets per year, the spring season (which ends just before the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs) and the Fall meet in October. It's a wonderful historic track.

Yesterday, I identified a "Block" crystal water pitcher. The name etched on the bottom. I learned from you how to look closely at crystal glass for the etched names on the bottom.

Bear is a wonderful specimen of a quality German Shepard! He is so adorable! You've got a keeper that's for sure! That square vase you picked up is partylite's quad prism pedestal candle holder. Can be used as a vase or a votive candle holder, or it can be turned upside down and used as a pillar candle holder. I have this same piece myself. I used to sell partylite and this was a very popular piece back in the day.
I use Glass platters for bottom of Planters I even get fancy with the colors Blue Glass black glass it holds the water that drips thru bettet then plastic lasts for as long as your careful

Fabulous finds. I have shopped Goodwill for over 50 years. I bought many treasures. Although their prices are getting higher, I got older and have qualified for the senior discount now for 20 years. The Goodwill where we now live doesn't have a lot to offer but I have gotten a few things for our home, and we have some really good thrift stores here. We are going to visit a larger city about 52 miles north because they do have a Goodwill and more thrift stores. I was one of your subscribers that didn't get notifications but I fixed that today.

The Kitty's are helping you figure out your bargains. Bear is so awesome. That one doggy was playing a bit rough was it a friendly romp. Tiffany when I had my flea market booths when something glass has a chigger bite(what I called a chip)I found these little sanding blocks made just for glassware. Its a sponge with the very Fine grit sandpaper surface. You wet the sponge and sand the chip to smooth. Then rinse it off. I would tag it as a sanded chip priced accordingly & They would get snatched up. The best little sand blocks and You can't even feel the chip afterwards. Lightly wet sand is the key. Have a great week. How's the house coming along? Praying you can get completely settled soon❤⚘❤

you can file very small chips on clear glass to smooth out then polish over the chip only for small chips works great.
