The investigations found that Chi Chi's mom may have committed Identity theft to register her self and her child as a south african According to home affairs, two children were born one to a South African mom another was chi chi The SA mom applied to register her child and chi chi's mom and some home affairs officials stole her identity and used it to register chi chi's birth ( that's how chi chi really became a south african) When that lady came back to home affairs to collect her child ID documents she found out that has a child whose name is Chidima.and she could not register her real child who became stateless and could not go to school, hospital if she is sick and varsity to further her education. Once it became clear that Chidima's mom is not a South African then the identity of Chi Chi also by law fell off( because she used her mom's fraudulent identity) Remember one of the requirements to participate in Miss SA pageant is to be citizen once that was in question chidima "resigned " Luckily for her though she is born to Mozambique and a Nigerian which means she could go to either of the two or both and claim citizen by blood in those countries which she went to Nigeria Home Affairs gave chi chi and her mom 30 days to give reasons why their IDs should not be terminated ( they are required by law to do so) When tht 30 day lapsed Chi Chi was on her way to Miss Universe in Mexico and because chi chi and her mom did not give any reason why they should keep their identities , home affairs terminated their identities ( required by law). Two citizenship ids are in issue, the one belonging to Chidimma’s mother and obtained three years before Chidimma’s birth and the one issued to Chidimma at birth. Which of them is allegedly contested? If it is Chidimma’s ID, how can her mother who is a confirmed SA citizen be accused of compromising another woman’s child ID when she herself is a confirmed SA citizen ? It does not make sense. Why can’t the SA government tell the world the truth on this issue? It is a big disgrace, deceipt and abuse of their legal process. They should have done better than that.

The investigations found that Chi Chi's mom may have committed Identity theft to register her self and her child as a south african
According to home affairs, two children were born one to a South African mom another was chi chi
The SA mom applied to register her child and chi chi's mom and some home affairs officials stole her identity and used it to register chi chi's birth ( that's how chi chi really became a south african)
When that lady came back to home affairs to collect her child ID documents she found out that has a child whose name is Chidima.and she could not register her real child who became stateless and could not go to school, hospital if she is sick and varsity to further her education.
Once it became clear that Chidima's mom is not a South African then the identity of Chi Chi also by law fell off( because she used her mom's fraudulent identity)
Remember one of the requirements to participate in Miss SA pageant is to be citizen once that was in question chidima "resigned "
Luckily for her though she is born to Mozambique and a Nigerian which means she could go to either of the two or both and claim citizen by blood in those countries which she went to Nigeria
Home Affairs gave chi chi and her mom 30 days to give reasons why their IDs should not be terminated ( they are required by law to do so)
When tht 30 day lapsed Chi Chi was on her way to Miss Universe in Mexico and because chi chi and her mom did not give any reason why they should keep their identities , home affairs terminated their identities ( required by law).
