I wonder if i have 2 12v motors on 2 light up deorations why one light turns faster than the other? last time i used them they were both the same working great, i packed them away and took them out and now 1 spins faster than the other and makes a bit of noise? i dont have anyone to ask so if you have any ideas please lmk.
Most videos dont explain this in regenerative braking. They just explain it using a regular asynchronous motor which isnt possible in regenerative mode. At least in my view

Hello, BLDC motor and Parmenent Magnet Synchronous Motor belong to synchronous rotating electric machines. The BLDC motor has a significant functional drawback because in each of the six steps (rotation angles) of the rotor it is powered by only two phases out of the three system phases. To function quietly and be as efficient as possible, it must be powered by the sine function. It was experimentally found that the gates of the switching transistors should be powered with PWM signals with a waveform "bent" in the middle. The PMSM is powered by a three-phase sine function and therefore does not have the mentioned disadvantage. Synchronous motors are inherently not self starting motors and needs some arrangement for its starting and synchronizing. The cost per kW output is generally higher than that of induction motors.

yes in that case it work like capacitor but how to do that I don't know it depends on the excitation field but I never go through math

Sometimes a slower, higher torque motor is substituted for a faster lower torque motor to solve problems of starting high resistant loads.
