I have a 2005 JGC WK Limited and the dash interior is interchangeable with the Commander XK. I’ll be using your installation video to help me with my remodel. Thanks Dan H!
That was another great video Dan ! Like I said before it looks so much better in black. Next spring I am going to pull my dash out of my 03 Tj to replace the a/c , Heater box. I bought another one and completely rebuilt it over last winter / early spring of this year. There is nothing wrong with the one that's in my TJ however the heater core and A/C evaporator are original to it . I replaced every component in the new one and will do the same with the original one once removed , this way I will have a spare completely rebuilt box if needed. Take care my friend and catch you on your next video.
Great Dan! Have 06 put a 2.5” lift, and took it off. Replaced entire wire harness behind dash. Gutted the interior about six months ago . Cleaned and greased grounds, primed/rust stopped floor, found near new interior at Pull a Part one day getting a brake lens. Thing never even did a drive through let alone let a French fry in. Soaked carpet in laundry detergent, rinsed with mild bleach and pressure washed. Layer in sun for days. Like new. Just did a nose job last weekend, new headlights and fogs. Painted my door cards with bed liner. They look sweet like new. Also swapped my hood and hatch with the Pull a Part car, they were flawless, mine had boat and trailer dings and dents and such. Big job there, heavy, I’m old and sticks for arms. Saw you lug that rear seat, for me it was more of a physics problems, get it in without tearing it or the Jeep up. Did it. So much more to do. Need front diff bushings. And a new fuel tank skid plate and fuel pump.
