I find your uploads sad but fascinating. Thank you for your time and work. If you get further towards Scarborough on your travels, I'd love to see one of Cayton Bay. Again sadly subject to these clay cliffs and the ravages of the sea. But the bay is sandwiched between the chalk cliffs of Flamborough and the more solid Scarborough. Beautiful but disappearing too.

Thank you, we love Cayton Bay and have filmed there a few times, but not focused on the erosion there.
We will definitely be heading up that way early in the new year.
Thank you for the suggestion, we do always follow up on them. ☺️

@ luckily not as many properties there. If you go left of the Salty Dog cafe the trees have slid down from the top. I love how respectful you are of residents too with your drone and your wanderings.

Thank you. Great video and suitable music. Very sad the erosion on the East Coast. Nevertheless, beautiful beaches.

I used to go for walks on the beach at Fraisthorpe with the kids for about 30 min years ago. I don't go anymore because now there is a parking fee. I don't want to pay for 2-4 hours parking when there is nothing else there but sand and muddy cliffs. Having said that,' All the best for 2025 everyone.

We've been caught out with parking tickets at places which were always free, even when we were there from 3am till 6am. These days we generally find somewhere free.. 😉

Very interesting. I have thought who pays for it all. To stop this. I think there needs to be a two fold approach. Cost benefit analysis. Send a person detailing who lives what on coastal areas and what farm land will be lost. Also government cannot afford it or should I say why doesn't places like digger bank the sse renewable wind farm pay for such things. That is what I'd have been doing as a local mp. Let private energy companies in part pay for protection of the erosion of the coastline. Obviously you cannot protect it all. It's like building a sandcastle on the beach.

Very interesting suggestions...it certainly is a tricky subject as soon as money is involved. 🫣😬
