I was a solo player and I introduced my friends to r6 and I told them that we should grind on rank and they said no but this story has a good ending last week we started grinding to at least get plat I could never do in on my own I was close but not enough but now we play almost every night

What stop caring about your rank does is help you play lots of ranked games, mess up, learn and help you play under pressure without always having a chip on your shoulder. It just helps with experience
dont complain about the cards your dealt in the siege ranked matches ive played this game ever since it came out to pc and console mainly console and i havent hit champ yet i havent even hit emerald shit takes time and im only plat 3 nearly there but still its all about the grind and effort hours and dedication learning from mistakes listening to team and just playing however youd like to as well while having all your support to your team plus theres towards you hopefully ive helped some people with getting better also maybe try pre aim angles before peeking corners and praticing crosshair placement it will help out alot in the long run i promise also dont be predictable and help set site up rotates reinforce walls where needed and ask what defense operators suit which site and which attack operators suit which attack route or strat your team or your taking
I’ve had to solo queue myself to emerald so far since my duo gives up every game at the very beginning after he dies and it’s always my or the teams fault not him💀
By my calculations based on how I’ve reverse engineered ranked 2.0’s hidden MMR, if you have already played around 200+ games and are at gold V lobbies, then maintaining a 1.1 w/l for 2,100 games over the course of multiple seasons (doesn’t matter how many seasons since hidden MMR is not normalized between seasons) then you should be able to get into high diamond and champ lobbies provided you maintained a 1.1 w/l consistently. Then from there, it’s just a matter of playing enough games the season you plan on reaching champ to get your RP up there. During that season you plan on hitting champ: If you maintain a 0.6 w/l you can reach diamond within around 80-120 games depending on if you win more games early in the season or if you loose a lot early on. Once you reach diamond, you just have to have a slightly positive win rate to hit champ. How do I know this? I built a ranked matchmaking system based off ranked 1.0, then I used my own account’s stats to see if it worked similarly in ranked 2.0 for hidden MMR. It was pretty darn close. Then considering how I’ve been able to manipulate matchmaking in ranked 2.0 to reach ranks I don’t belong in, then using that to replicate in my model, it seems like this description holds up. The trick is to follow through. For that reason, the easiest way to reach champ is: make a new account, have a very high win rate the first season, then in your second season, go for champ. Notice I didn’t talk about how to play but just the highly simplified math. You need to know how to play to have the calculations work in your favor.

if you're under diamond its bec ur bad.. you are placed in a hidden mmr and the game tries to get you there which is ur real rank and if you match it the game tries to keep you there and if you do well then it places u higher
I have champ game sense but copper aim 😂 one day I said fuck it and did what I do in cod which is melee only, shit took me up to Gold 3 before I had to bring out the gun again, which we pushed me back down 😂
Some of these champs suck they just play 1000 games and hit champ eventually because of the rp gain. Meanwhile I play 80 and scratch diamond 1 just so next season can start in my face the next day lol. 2.0 champs are really just plats at most

You don't lose much rp on losses and gain a huge amount on wins if your visual rank doesn't match your hidden mmr, meaning that if i'd play against diamonds as a copper, i'm gonna reach diamond crazy fast until both my visual rank and my hidden mmr match, causing my rp gain to even out again and make the grind to the next division much slower.
I’m plat 4 with a 1.3 last season I had a 1.4 I destroy champs and diamonds in my plat lobby when my teamate hit emerald last season so he gains more elo this season he has a .7 at emerald 3 it’s still fun I just can’t rank up
